I understand your frustration and in your shoes I would be upset as well.
However, the context missing from this review is there was a glitch in the AirBNB app. Your notifications and reservations never came through to my account. As soon as I was made aware of the error I spent over 3 hours trying to diagnose the problem on the phone with tech support to find out why this had happened.
I was able to secure you a full refund and did apologize as well. I am sorry it turned into a mess but in all honesty the problem was a technical error outside of my control and can not foresee this being a problem in the future.
All your reviews as a guest show you to be an empathetic guy and I only ask you give me the benefit of the doubt in return that this is not the norm.
