Knighton Villa is located on the exclusive Knighton Church Road in the fashionable and highly regarded leafy suburb of South Knighton, lying approximately 2 miles to the south of the city centre.

Knighton Villa is a superb and deceptively spacious palisaded Victorian villa located on the exclusive Knighton Church Road in the fashionable and highly regarded leafy suburb of South Knighton. The property has undergone an extensive and sympathetic programme of refurbishment and alterations providing a stylish, individual and versatile home for modern-day living. The living accommodation includes: an attractive sitting room (sun trap), a second sitting room with open fire, a 23 foot open-plan dining kitchen, a separate downstairs WC and washbasin, a delightful and attractive galleried first floor landing providing access to three bedrooms to the first floor, two of which are very generous in size, as well as the shared bathroom. The property enjoys an attractive, deep, southerly-facing rear garden, enjoying a pleasant rear leafy aspect.

I do hope you enjoy your stay at our villa. My husband and I purchased Knighton Villa in 2008, where we enjoyed a number of years of occupancy as our main residence, undertaking much of the refurbishment and redecoration ourselves as we lived there. Please feel free to enjoy the villa and the surrounding amenities, and I do hope that you enjoy your stay.

Knighton Villa is well served for everyday amenities and services including renowned public and private schooling, Leicester City Centre, The University of Leicester, De Montfort University, Leicester Racecourse, plus the Leicester Royal Infirmary and the Leicester General hospitals. It is conveniently located for nearby Oadby, Queens Road and Allandale Road which all have specialist shops, bars, boutiques and restaurants, as well as both the Leicester City Football Club and Leicester Tigers grounds.

You will be renting the entire 3-bedroom property, which includes 2 reception / living rooms, and a stunning living kitchen diner in excess of 27 feet. There is a family bathroom upstairs with over-bath shower, as well as a separate toilet WC downstairs. The villa includes all modern appliances including dishwasher, washing machine, Bosch Tassimo coffee machine, Amazon Alexa, Samsung Smart TV 50" and fibre WiFi (up to 100 mbps) is available throughout.

Knighton Villa is perfectly situated in the suburb of South Knighton which offers a corner shop and post office, large park, popular pub (the Cradock Arms) and regular bus services to the city centre.

Within walking distance (15 minutes) is the renowned Allandale Road / Francis Street shopping parade which offers a wide variety of independent shops, boutiques, cafes and bars:
• Timo (Italian restaurant/wine bar)
• The Real Ale Classroom (Bar)
• Marchee Wok (Chinese)
• Anatolia (Turkish)
• Browns (Café bistro)
• Marabel (Italian)
• Deli Flavour (Deli café)

About 20 minutes’ walk or a 2-minute drive from where you are staying is the small town of Oadby which offers many shops and restaurants including a 24-hour Asda, M&S Simply Food, Waitrose, Subway, Sainsburys, Co-Op, Costa and a Wetherspoons pub, the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal. It also has fish and chip shops, Indian and Chinese restaurants and other pubs such as Grange Farm (a Vintage Inn) and the Oadby Owl (a Hungry Horse).

A 5-minute drive in the opposite direction, you can find the popular Queens Road in the Clarendon Park area which has more shops including a Sainsburys Local, a butcher shop, a health food shop and many interesting places to eat, such as:
