The marble tiled bath includes a claw foot bathtub. There is an outside hot tub available for soaking under the stars. Heat is provided by a soapstone wood stove with glass doors. Numerous porches are great for viewing the scenery or just lounging around.
Although the property has a Saltville address, it is actually located north of the town of Abingdon, and southwest of Lebanon.
Please note that in case of light snow, a four wheel drive vehicle is recommended for access. Arrangements can also be made for me to ferry you to the lodge in my truck, if need be. If there is a heavy snow (more than a couple of inches), access may not be possible. We don't get a lot of snow, but it is always possible in the winter months. All that being said, Raven Ridge is incredibly beautiful in the snow.
There is a two night minimum stay. Sorry, pets are not allowed at Raven Ridge, due to the allergies of some of my guests. Although my standard check in time is after 3 PM, I can sometimes accommodate earlier check in. depending on my schedule. Late checkout may be available as well.
