Seth's place is wonderful and we appreciated all the little touches — nice towels/bedding, quality shower products, beautiful furniture. It was the perfect, cozy getaway that we were looking for. The best part though was Seth's extremely detailed note on everything to do in and around Poughkeepsie! We used it as our guide and we had a phenomenal time. I couldn't recommend his place and the experience more highly!

Place was clean, everything was as described, and easy to find. Quiet street and just a short ride from the main part of town. Seth was helpful, and gave all the info you could possibly need about the place and the area before arrival. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the poughkeepsie area.

Bright, clean, comfortable. A great place to stay while exploring the Hudson, or visiting your kid at Vassar (it's just 10 blocks away), or both!

Loved this apartment. So clean and nicely decorated. Just as described and I enjoyed my morning run with all the kids walking to school at the same time. I do recommend ear plugs if you are sensitive to any city noises like I am. Generally it is a quiet street and location but there is the occasional ambulance on a nearby street, etc. Parking on the street was not an issue since we were out and about by 0900 anyway. We did park one night in the driveway and just pulled further in to leave room for the other guests below. Loved all of the recommendations for restaurants and activities. We will be back often so it was great to have a guide to help us get to know the area. Definitely recommend it!

I'm a writer, marketing consultant and designer who splits time between Upstate NY and New York City. My girlfriend Erin and I love to travel, discover fun towns, eat great food, hunt for antiques, and welcome newcomers to the Hudson Valley.

I publish a blog that's dedicated to travel, food and culture in Upstate NY called An Upstate of Mind. If you do a quick search, it should come right up. I’m happy to provide recommendations for restaurants, day trips and other attractions tailored around whatever you like to do.
