Altamente recomendable.

The place was wonderful. It was clean and I could see beautiful view at the balcony in every morning and night. In the first day, I was lost after I got off Sita bus but Melania and Arcangelo did their best to help me so I felt really thankful. There were many stairs but it was not my problem. To go to the beach , or to go to a great restaurant, I always had to take bus but I felt transportation system of positano was not that accurate and convenient. (But there is a bus stop near the place and Melania gave me the timetable of the bus and it was helpful) Except for that, everything about accomodation was perfect. And I definitely think they are the best hosts. Thank you so much again.

This is a great place to stay! The views are fantastic, the room and food are wonderful, and Angelo and Melania are super friendly and helpful! Don't be put off by the thought of the stairs; everywhere else in Positano and Montepertuso has lots of stairs, too, but they don't have the view that Mamma Rosa has!

Angelo and Melania are the best hosts you can ask for. From the moment you arrive Angelo makes you feel right at home. He knows so much about the area and takes the time to set you up with the bus schedules and ideas to help round out your trip. The view you have is incredible and pictures do not do it justice. I am looking forward to another trip in the future and there is no other place i would stay

Mamma rosa is a fantastic place to stay. The accomodation itself was clean and comfortable. It also felt very private which is ideal for a relaxed and peaceful trip away. The views were incredible from the balcony in your room. Angelo ensured we had everything we needed and provided a great breakfast every morning. He offered invaluable advice on what to do each day. We look forward to staying here again sometime in the future! Thank you to Angelo, melania and family.

Our stay at Mamma Rosa was fantastic! We were very impressed from the beginning when Angelo helped us off the bus and carried our bags up all 226 stairs! The stairs were a beast to take but the accommodations and the VIEW at the top were breathtaking! It was peaceful and relaxing to stay there. The town was great and there are some very top notch restaurants near by. Hardly any tourists around which is nice! Angelo was incredibly helpful in setting up our cooking class at the family restaurant down the road (this experience was two thumbs up btw - cooking class at Il Ritrovo) and also giving us valuable tips on how to get to Pompeii and other nearby places to visit. My wife is pregnant and breakfast in Italy is all carbs which doesn't carry weight for long and my wife is used to protein in the breakfast so Angelo grabbed some eggs to make in the morning for my wife which was a very kind gesture - thank you Angelo!! We always had clean towels the next day and the bed was made as well. The ONLY thing that I will make sure you understand before staying here is that there are 226 stairs (we counted) from the road to the B&B and they are not small be prepared to hike! And if your spouse is pregnant, make sure she is cool with that!! It's worth it though! Thanks to Mamma Rosa for the fantastic stay!!

We loved this airb&b and Melania was very easy to communicate with! They met us & helped us with our bags, explained about what to do in the area & went above & beyond to make our stay enjoyable! We loved the restaurants close by & being in this quieter area. The Path of the Gods hike is also very close to this villa. We'll be back!
