Located on the second floor of an traditional Shanghai-style walk-up with a 24/7 security guard, this apartment is close to major roads and within walking distance of Line 1/2/10/12/13 metro lines. Despite this bumpin' location, it is tucked off of the street so it's nice and quiet. You'll rub elbows with our friendly Shanghainese neighbors, and can start exploring the city right outside of your front door.

This is your home all to yourself, so guests have access to the entire apartment, including a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Guests also receive a pack of the best chocolate chip cookies this side of the Pacific and a discount to UnTour Shanghai's food tours, the top-ranked provider of culinary excursions in the city. We also have a Xiao Mi Air Purifier 2 in the apartment to make sure the AQI inside is as excellent as possible.
We have written up a very detailed welcome pack for you when you get to the apartment. It will be placed in the basket on top of the the refrigerator along with your delicious cookies and the AirBnB taxi cards with the location in characters for easy return home in cabs. This welcome packet handles all of the frequently asked questions we get about the apartment, so it should have all the answers for you, but if you run across a problem that we didn't address, we're always available to help you out.
Bedroom: The bedroom features a queen-sized bed with a soft, international brand mattress equipped with 100% cotton sheets that are freshly laundered. There's a bedside lamp for reading, and chargers so your phone is in easy reach. We also supply ear plugs, in case you're a light sleeper. There's also a wardrobe for all your clothes.
Living room: The living room has a very comfy L-shaped couch perfect for relaxing on (or sleeping if you have more than 2 guests), as well as a breakfast nook to enjoy your morning coffee or tea. You will also have access to our free wifi, DVD collection, bookshelf (including some great China travel books) and Bananagrams. There's a desk if you're planning to work from home. Our XiaoMi Air Purifier is in this room, cleaning the air in the whole apartment, and we have a heater as as well as air conditioning unit.
Kitchen: There is a full kitchen with refrigerator, two-range gas stove, cooking utensils and cleaning supplies. We also have a coffee maker and a kettle, with free coffee and tea for all of our guests.
Bathroom: Like many bathrooms in Shanghai, ours is nothing out of control extravagant, but it is totally solid. It is equipped with washing machine (with complimentary detergent), hair dryer, a drying rack, toilet paper, and shower complete with free amenities including freshly-washed towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. In the wintertime, there's also a heater in the bathroom.

We have also created a handy guidebook for the surrounding area and beyond, with suggestions on where to eat, drink, shop and visit during your stay with user-and-cabbie-friendly bilingual directions for taxi drivers. The guidebook answers all of our guests FAQs, but if there's an issue we did not address, do not hesitate to get in touch.
