This home lies on the headland between two estuaries leading out into the Bristol Channel. It is in a very quiet, tranquil and inspiring remote location. The 180 ° sea/estuary views reputed to be one of the best in Wales. From the Master Suite can be seen Laugharne castle and the Dylan Thomas Boathouse. In the distance is Tenby and Caldey Island. There is a glorious view of the Gower and on a clear day one can see Devon. Full moonlight and low tide creates magical sea views across the bay.

El espacio
The Master Suite consists of a beautiful room with a Super King size bed, a comfortable settee and an ‘office corner’ for those needing to keep up with their business while on holiday. The luxurious en-suite bathroom has a classic copper bath, two individual hand basins set in granite and a toilet. Facing South the French doors lead out onto a generous sized balcony looking out over the bay. This is a lovely place to enjoy a romantic mild night, somewhere to watch the sun rise or enjoy coffee on a warm sunny morning. Through the adjoining dressing room (which can have a single bed added) there is the staircase to the top of the tower. This is a rather unusual and romantic sitting room that has magnificent views over the countryside and out to sea across Carmarthen Bay.
We are currently preparing two more separate rooms, which will have use of the family bathroom. This is not the bathroom in the guest suite but is at the other end of the house. This will mean we will be able to accommodate about 4 more guests.

Servicios y zonas comunes
Most of the house is accessible but ideally by request as we also live there.

Otros aspectos destacables
We are currently preparing two other bedrooms with the use of the family shared bathroom , not the one in the guest suite. Each will be a double or twin so up to 4 more people can be hosted.

The house lies in some eight acres of wildflower meadow and wooded coppices overlooking Carmarthen Bay and the town of Laugharne across the estuary. This is a wonderful site for seeing wildlife. At certain times of the year we see hares, perigrin falcons, buzzards, red kites and much more. The house is about 1.3 miles from the village of Llansteffan. Llansteffan is rather a special unspoilt village with a massive and extensive beach overlooked by a magnificent Castle. There is one traditional pub and another ‘The Sticks’ that serves excellent food as does the famous 'Yr Hen Dafarn’ whose proprietor and chef uses his daily catch to provide a perfect seafood selection. The village shop, where they bake their own bread, provides essentials as well as a take away service, this too is fully licensed restaurant. The Pantyrathro Mansion Hotel, on the outskirts of Llansteffan is also a good place to eat. Not to mention the fish and chips on the beach as praised by The Guardian as one of the best places for this traditional British meal.

This is a place from which to enjoy so many outdoor activities sailing, walking, riding, boat trips etc. As well as a quiet day curled up with a book on a comfy sofa and every now and then looking at the incredible views.
