Please leave the yurt as you found it. Sweeping and wiping down the counter tops and table is always appreciated. We do not have trash or recycling service so please take all trash and recycling with you. There is a queen bed and two regular sized futons in the yurt. Feel free to bring sheets and use those if you'd like. If there is no wood under the deck. There should be quite a bit of wood and some slash piles near the large firepit. The playgound area with the slide is a bit rickety, please avoid using the play area! There are several small, clear and black plastic boxes on the floor around the perimeter of the inside of the yurt. (Mouse poison) They are dog proof but if you have a concern feel free to pick them up. Just put them back when you leave. Make yourself at home, open the windows and enjoy!

We were so lucky to be here during a full moon! The yurt was well-equipped with wood, water, propane, and tools for cooking, cleaning, and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!

The yurt was a good place to introduce friends to camping without having to suffer being cold or wet. The yurt was super cozy and well equipped.

The yurt was amazing! We stayed 2 nights, and had so much fun. Exploring the property, experiencing a warm wood stove and star gazing at night... It was perfection! Thank you so much, Caleb and Elisabeth!

We absolutely loved The Yurt!!! Location was incredible, fire pit was awesome, griddle propane stove made it easy to have delicious meals while we were "glamping". I would have no problem staying here again. We went up to Lost Lake one day and hiked around, great spot a few miles from the yurt. Star gazing is something I only dreamed about, we could perfectly see the Milky Way, no light pollution out there!! We also had the cutest dog come visit us, Jimmy. Not sure where he came from, but he had a collar and was very, very friendly!! Only thing that was a bit difficult were the dirt roads in our small Kia rental car. Just make sure you bring a car that can handle the dirt roads!! Directions given by Caleb made it easy to find the yurt. Great little spot in the middle of no mans land!

Scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The road to the yurt is a bit steep at times but is very manageable. Caleb was a great host and was there for any concern we had, even though we did not have any. Definitely off the grid, if your looking for a relaxing destination of near complete solitude then the yurt is a must. I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes unique off the grid vacations. Not your average tourist destination and that's what I liked the most!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights for our anniversary and had a great time. It was a nice change of pace from our regular lives and slow things down. The directions to the location were very helpful; I'm not sure we would have found the yurt otherwise. This was our first time staying in a yurt and enjoyed the unique experience. We were looking for seclusion and quietness which (for the most part) we found here. We were there for the Perseid meteor shower which was very cool too. It was nice being close enough to Red Feather Lakes to be able to pop in and do some exploring there too (about 30-40 minutes away). It was a very low key couple of days reading, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors. The view of the sunsets from the deck in the evenings were great. The only downside to our experience was the neighboring property to the south. There was a family staying in an RV with several dogs and ATV's (maybe 1/4 mile away). We had some four-legged visitors which required the neighbors to come over to retrieve and there was noise from their generator and ATV's from time to time (during reasonable hours of the day). Overall, it was a fun trip and the yurt/location was as described.

I had a great first experience in the yurt. They provided everything needed to make the experience truly memerable. Thank you for everything, we will be staying again in the near future.
