-Following the market tour you will head out to the School
-On your arrival at the school you will meet with the Principal and be taken on a tour through the school and community.

Saturday
*Depending on your choice to worship or not it may effect the schedule*

-Saturday we worship at 9am and 3pm
-Since Saturday is the Sabbath we do not work in the fields. We will take you through a variety of activities depending on the weather and your interests.
The options include and are not limited to
-Swimming in the local river with the students. At this time we use plastic bottles to collect river water for washing dishes and clothing.
-Visit the local villages and plantations. See how the families in the area live and what they choose to garden.
-We are near the ocean and will bring you and the children to the salt water. There you can interact with the children and they can teach you their names for the sea life and also what different items are used for.

-Sabbath finishes when the sun goes down on Saturday. After Sabbath the community starts working to prepare for the market the following day. You will be welcome to help harvest the manioc and other vegetables in the garden.
-Saturday night around 9pm you will go with the men in the community to catch fish and other sea life that will be sold for our Sunday Special.

Sunday
Sunday is our busiest day of the week. We spend our morning harvesting and cooking to prepare for our market sales.
-First thing Sunday morning you will be in the kitchens learning to prepare the local foods. From grating manioc and bananas for Laplap, preparing coconuts for coconut milk, cleaning and frying whole fish, preparing and frying local bread kato and any thing else needed for Sunday special.
-After the kitchen you will be brought to the garden for harvest. Since we are without a personal truck every Sunday we rent one. This means that Sunday we harvest all we will need for the week at the market.
-Following harvest we will load up the truck. Once the truck is loaded you, Uncle max and a few others will pile in and head back to the market to start the sales for the week.
-Once there you will get to experience what it’s like to be a true part of the market. From selling warm Laplap wrapped in banana leaf, prepping and packaging vegetables, to interacting with other vendors.
-Dinner will be served at the market from fresh foods cooked during the day
-In the evening you will head back to the community to rest for the night.

Monday
-In the morning you will have breakfast with the community
-Following breakfast you will be brought to the garden to plant a memories. The memory will be a plant of your choosing that will grow on the land and be used to support the community when it is harvested.
-Then you will say your goodbyes and be brought back to Port Vila

With that in mind you will be provided with your own room away from other sleeping arrangements. The bathroom will be a shared outhouse with the shower being warmed water from a bucket in a private room. Again you will be living like a local.
