This is a posh Luxury Double room Suite with one Double Cot, similar to a high-end-luxury heritage property, but offered at a price even less than a low-budget room. Being a Non-profit charitable organisation, we offer the lowest budget-pricing possible, in a prime location within the heart of Ooty.

The ambience here is that of an old heritage property, unlike the commonplace modern day trendy buildings. Holiday makers throng to the hills of Ooty to leave behind their stressed up life in the cities; and the last thing they want to see is another stereo-type modern space to stay in. This heritage suite is totally (solid) wood-panelled, exuding a truly Victorian ambiance. It has a Sofa-lounge section, a Dining Table section, a Dressing Table, a TV, and a Toilet. Check out the snaps, it is all in there for you to see.

Unlike other low-budget properties, we are centrally located - so your family is safe, and you don’t have to hunt around looking for local transport (and then spend more than twice your Room-tariff on expensive cabs). The location further makes it easier to access most of the major tourist spots.

Maximum number of guests permitted - 4 Guests
Charge for each extra guest from the 3rd Guest onwards (up to 2 Guests - No extra charge) - Rs.500 per extra guest.

SO WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?

1. SUPER LOW PRICING: High-end luxury heritage properties charge exorbitantly from 5 times to 15 times our tariff - (you can check this out yourself if you feel this is an exaggeration).

2. LOCATION: Just about 250 meters radius from the Botanical Garden Main Gate, and about 500 meters from Main Commercial Road of Ooty. So (a). It is safe; (b). You can just take a short walk up to Commercial Road for shopping and dining out; (c). You have a choice of transport at your door step; (d). If you prefer instead to chill-out, just take a leisurely walk in to the Botanical Garden; and (e). It is easier to access most of the major tourist spots.

3. CATERING: Room-service is available. In addition to this, there are also a choice of restaurants catering to all budgets, located on the opposite side of the compound just across the road.

4. FOR NATURE LOVERS: 55 Acres of Lush Green superb landscape awaits you with in the Botanical Garden. With hundreds of selections of flowers and trees, it is a must-see for all. Even otherwise, just take a stroll in to the garden any time you feel like it; after all, it is just round the corner.

5. ROUND THE CLOCK HOT WATER: Unlike other budget properties, we provide 24 Hour Hot water service with Geysers in all bathrooms. (So, no morning/evening timings for Hot water, and no water-rationing).

6. CAR PARK: Ample car parking is available within the compound and it is free of charge. Further, the Gates are closed and locked in the night for safety.

7. LOCAL TAXI SERVICE AND TRAVEL ARRAGEMENTS: We do arrange local taxi services and sight-seeing tours both in Taxis and Mini-busses. We connect the guest directly with the relevant service-provider, and we never act as (commercial) commission-agents in between the customer and service-provider.

8. PERSONALISED SERVCE: You can count on a non-commercial attitude and personalised service from us - what else would you expect from a Non-profit organisation?

Our policy has always been to offer the lowest possible budget pricing. Although, most of our guests have felt that the interiors of our rooms do match those of high-end luxury heritage properties, kindly do recognize our limitations therein considering our exceptionally low tariffs (resulting in thin profit margins). Hence, it is earnestly requested that you kindly do limit your expectations from our property and services, only up to a level foreseeable from just a budget property service.

We do prefer not to compare our services to that of high-end luxury properties that charge exorbitantly from 5 times to 15 times our tariffs. But, in due course, it will be our endeavour to try and match, or perhaps even exceed their standards of service, while keeping our same low-budget pricing intact.
