Our creek-side cabin, tucked in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, is minutes from the Appalachian Trail, breweries, wineries, Skyline Drive, Bold Rock, Pharsalia & Crabtree Falls. Enjoy the fun then relax by Campbell's Creek & enjoy the tranquility.

Our cabin seems rustic, full of rough wood and handmade details that our father included when he built it in the 80s. But while seemingly rustic, it is warm, comfy, and charming.
The downstairs has an ample living space with a living room (with working fireplace), dining room (seats 6 comfortably), bar area, kitchen, and one and a half baths. The full bath has a claw foot tub along with a shower.
Adding to the cabin’s allure are two large outdoor porches. The back porch looks down on Campbell's Creek. It has 3 rocking chairs -- offering the perfect opportunity to surrender to nature and be lulled by the sounds of the Creek. The front porch includes a large retro cooler, benches, and a picnic table.
The upstairs has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed while the adjoining bedroom has two twin beds. The upstairs greatest charm is each bedrooms' lovely balcony overlooking the forest. Here you can gaze at the stars and the moon as they play hide-n-seek among the trees. The upstairs also has a half bath.

Among our cabin's many unique features is the wooden bridge our father built to cross Campbell's Creek.

While the upstairs accommodates 4 people, there is a pull out couch downstairs that fits two small children or one adult. There is also ample room downstairs to fit an air bed.

Guests have access to the entire cabin as well as its surrounding property and creek.

One of the property owners will initially greet guests to give them keys and answer any questions. After that, guests are on their own. Although one of us is always a phone call away and can be at the cabin within minutes.

Tucked between Campbell’s Creek, Washington National Forest, and Jefferson National Forest, our cabin is ready for you to build wonderful memories. Only minutes away from the Appalachian Trail, historic Pharsalia, the Wintergreen Skii Resort, Crabtree Falls, Montebello’s fish hatchery, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Nelson 151’s fun breweries and wineries, our cabin offers you a respite from the hustle and bustle.
At Campbell's Creek, you are never too far from adventure, exploration, history, and discovery.

There is no public transportation available. Guests must arrive by car. Virginia's state highway's 29, 56, and 151 are the main thoroughfare, but the Skyline Drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway is also only minutes away. The nearest airports are located in Charlottesville and Lynchburg.
At the cabin, there is easy parking for 5 cars.

At our cabin, don't expect to stay in touch with the outside world. There is no internet, tv, or cell phone reception. A land line phone is available for local calls only.

This place is the true definition of a cabin. It is very secluded, made entirely of wood, and all you hear is the sound of the creek. No tv, no internet, and being in this place you wouldn't want it any other way. It's a great place to disconnect. The place was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed for the weekend. While staying here we hiked Crabtree Falls and had lunch/beer at Devils backbone brewery, both were only about 25 min from the cabin. We would highly recommend this place to others. We will definitely be back in the future! Thanks again Melanie!!

The house is amazing! It is the perfect place to disconnect. We had a great time doing some trekking in the trails near by and enjoying the fire pit. Everything is exactly like the pictures, very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely come back! Also, Melanie was a great host and the house was spotless. The only problem was a small issue with the bathtub but Melanie quickly solved it.

Very nice rustic cabin with a beautiful location to match.Truly secluded, no cell-phone service for 20 minutes away secluded. The road alone in warrants AWD as a heads up. Would gladly come back.

Melanie was very responsive and the cabin was PERFECT! Exactly what we were looking for. Simple, but with everything you needed. I loved that there was no distraction from cell service, TV, wifi. The creek behind the cabin was amazing and is part of the reason I can't wait to come back and stay at the cabin again. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is looking to get away and just enjoy nature.

Escape to Campbell's Creek was better then we could have asked for!! Melanie, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The cabin and the beautiful location was just perfect for our family. My wife and I came with our grown son and daughter and their partners. It was a great opportunity for our family to get away and spend some fun time together! No TV, no computers, no cell phones…. what a wonderful treat! The cabin was well appointed and had everything we needed. The creek running right next to the cabin was breathtaking, we loved the sound of the water so close to us! We hiked up to Spy Rock for an incredible 360 look at the surrounding mountains and autumn colors. It was quite the trek but well worth the 5 mile hike (round trip) to enjoy the incredible views! Coming home to Campbell’s Creek we warmed up in front of a cozy fire and a nice glass of wine. We also enjoyed having a fire outside and there was plenty of cut wood, which we appreciated very much. They only problem was that the vacation was too short!! Next time we are going to stay at least 3 nights so we can take advantage of the beautiful surroundings and quiet retreat. It’s a little slice of heaven and a wonderful getaway! We will be back for sure! Kim & Donna
