At less than half the price of most hotel rooms on the island, we offer a private guestroom and private bath within our art-filled home, remotely located on the east side of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. We respect your privacy and will be as accommodating as is humanly possible, but we are a family with comings and goings and dogs barking and phones ringing, etc. We can't offer you the luxury of a hotel but we graciously welcome you into our home and our family.
Your private room has its own entrance so you can come and go as you please. There is a small fence-enclosed outdoor space by your entrance with two chairs where you can smoke if you like. In your room is a TV with a Roku (we detached from cable), a DVD player, a GPS if you need it, snorkeling gear, an ice chest with cold water, two beach chairs, beach towels, and two beach umbrellas. There are also two plush bathrobes for you to use and extra towels. Your private bathroom is a short walk down the hallway, washer & dryer is in the hallway, and WiFi is everywhere, even out by the pool.

Atención a los huéspedes
This is our home so, of course, we are here all the time. But we value your privacy so unless you need advice or information or want to join us for a glass of wine and conversation, we will try to remain scarce during your stay. The pool patio area is essentially yours exclusively. We (stupidly) never use it so it's the ideal area to be alone.

Full disclosure: Although the Caribbean sea surrounds us, we do not have a sea view. We look out onto rolling hills across the valley below. Also, we have two dogs that can bark at inopportune times and five outdoor cats. If you are not an animal lover or suffer from allergies, this is probably not a good choice for you.
Two guests maximum per room. No smoking indoors.

Originally from Pennsylvania, I have lived in St. Croix my entire adult life. My husband John (microbiologist) is from Scotland. John loves chess and is an excellent chess coach. I am a retired art teacher, hoping to establish myself as a late-blooming artist. We love hosting Airbnb guests in our home and enjoy traveling whenever we can.
