Ubicación fantástica
El 100 % de los últimos huéspedes han valorado con 5 estrellas la ubicación.
To truly get away from it all, we have thoughtfully installed no WiFi or TV! This is a different experience - games, jigsaws, CD player and radio. The barn is made out of straw bales so the acoustics are good! We are five minutes into Sheffield and five minutes to the Peak District, and have lovely walks straight from your door. And wild swimming 5 mins down the wood.

El espacio
This is a one room building with a shower room and loo. The bed is a sofa bed, (very comfy). Heating is by wood burning stove with additional oil heaters . if you are looking for a different experience - a feeling that you are miles from anywhere, with a perfect chance to slow down. we will provide one bag of seasoned hard wood for the stove ,additional Bags are a fiver and much better than gas station bought stuff.

Otros aspectos destacables
Hi - we have a check in time of 3pm and check out of 11am on the day you leave.

The postcode takes you to the waterworks! So ...

If you are coming from Sheffield city centre take signs to Glossop on the A57. As the suburbs come to an end and you see open countryside there is a garden centre - Valleyside - on your left. We are exactly one mile past Valleyside - also on the left. When you see the zigzag sign start indicating left, and slow down. We are right on the bend. There is a narrow lane just before our driveway. Do not go up the lane! We are about 20 metres past the little lane.

If you are coming from Glossop (over the Snake Pass), the road forks just after the waterworks (on your right). Do not take the fork (Rivelin Valley Road). Stay on the A57 (Manchester Road). You will go past Lodge Lane on your right, then Rails Road on your left. Start indicating right and slow down after Rails Road. We are right on the bend.

Come up the drive and through the gateway between the house and the stable. Knock on the blue door under the oak framed porch. You are here!

We have shops a mile away, pubs a half hour walk along the crags and walks into ancient woodlands or down to the River Rivelin from your door. This is a very versatile area . You can walk down the nature trail, take a tram into town to do some city things - Millenium Galleries, Crucible and Lyceum Theatres, lots of restaurants (recommend Oisoi, Gusto, Tamper, South Street Kitchen and there are plenty of others - particularly at Kelham Island) - then come back on the bus 274 or 51. Or you can turn left out the drive - four minutes into the Peak District - lovely Fairholmes for biking around the reservoirs where they filmed the Dambusters, Edale, Eyam, walking on Kinderscout, great coffee and cake at David Mellor in Hathersage, Stanage Edge and much more! We have a parking space off road .
