Descripción

Located in a quiet, rural area and yet only a few minutes drive from downtown Fort Bragg and one mile from the beach, our beautiful private cozy cabin was completely remodeled in 2014.

Our secluded, cozy cabin is located just north of Fort Bragg near the end of a quiet gravel lane. The cabin is in a rural area and yet is just a few minutes drive from downtown and its numerous restaurants and galleries. Also just a few minutes drive are the Skunk Train, Glass Beach, the Noyo Headlands Park and Coastal Trail, MacKerricher State Park and Pudding Creek Beach.

The cabin is close to the main house, but with a separate yard and entrance, so is very private. The accommodation consists of a large, light and airy sitting/dining room with vaulted pine ceiling. This room also has a kitchenette with sink, microwave, toaster, refrigerator/freezer, tea kettle and coffee maker. The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and en suite bathroom with shower. There is a small covered redwood deck with table and chairs. A very efficient gas monitor heater is located in the main room for those chilly evenings. Free WiFi access is available.

Binoculars, beach towels, beach chairs and coolers are available to borrow on request.

There are many activities available locally including whale watching, fishing, hiking, cycling, kayaking, horse riding, to name a few.

Fort Bragg has many festivals throughout the year including the Whale Festival in March, the Mendocino Film Festival in May, the World's Largest Salmon Barbecue and Mendocino Music Festival in July and Paul Bunyan Days in September.

We keep chickens and a rooster who tends to wake up early and welcome the day! Most of our guests either do not notice this or enjoy it as part of the experience of staying with us.

Check-in is between 3pm and 8pm. Check-ins outside of these hours by prior arrangement only.

We are licensed with Mendocino County and our price includes 11% county taxes.

Originally from England, we have lived in California since 1996. Having taken many camping vacations in Fort Bragg we fell in love with this beautiful area and decided to move here in 2011.
