Welcome to Haymark Farmhouse, built in 1907. Relax in the two story home, with 20 windows from which to take in the pastoral view. Enjoy the fireplace with electric logs and the open floor plan; and out back, a lighted area with a fire pit, gas grill, and table for ten.
Explore our 275 acre farm! Take a hike, catch a fish, hunt (message us for deer hunting rates), play in a barn, watch a sunset beside a pond...relax!
If you need room for 4 more, check out our Thomas Road House on the same farm.

El espacio
What sets this historic house apart is its location in the country, with views of the farm and the opportunity to interact with the land and nature. The decor is that of a typical Kentucky farmhouse—deep in tradition, having evolved over time—with modern conveniences, such as newly built bathrooms (one on each floor). The downstairs bathroom has a large, luxurious walk-in shower. The upstairs bathroom is divided into three efficiently appointed rooms--a vanity room, a bath/shower room, and a toilet room--for sharing convenience. The four bedrooms have new mattresses and nice bedding, as well as chairs for relaxing. One is on the first floor, three are upstairs. The kitchen is well stocked for making home-cooked meals.
While in Fleming County, we recommend that you see at least one of the three famous old covered bridges (Goddard Bridge is our favorite)! Haymark Farm is just twenty minutes from historic Old Washington and five minutes more to beautiful Maysville, now part of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. A day trip to Lexington is a beautiful one hour drive, and Cincinnati is 75 miles from Ewing. We're 10 minutes to Blue Licks State Park, with Carter Caves and Cave Run Lake close as well. So much to do and see! Or not...maybe you just want to relax and enjoy the farm. We are excited to offer you a taste of eastern Kentucky hospitality!

Servicios y zonas comunes
Guests will have access to the entire house--downstairs: the foyer, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, bedroom, and bathroom (with entrances from the bedroom and the hallway), and upstairs: three bedrooms and one bathroom. Outdoors, guests may use the front porch, back patio, yard, playhouse, and the wide open spaces of the 275 acre farm.

Otros aspectos destacables
Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you will need an inflatable bed or a portable infant crib!
Our farm is just one mile from a gas/food mart in Ewing. Ken's Market in Flemingsburg is the closet grocery store, about eight miles away. Fleming County is a dry county. We are twenty-five minutes from Kroger in Maysville, where liquor, wine and beer are sold

Our home is in a rural area in Fleming County, known for its three beautiful, old wooden covered bridges. Ewing is ten miles from Flemingsburg, the county seat ( population 3600+). Many Amish families live here and run a variety of businesses. About fifteen minutes away is Old Washington, a charming pioneer town in Mason County. We are approximately 50 miles from Lexington, 80 from Cincinnati, and 15 from Maysville, a pretty historic river town.

Durante tu estancia
We live three miles from the farm but my husband works on the farm practically every day. I'm retired. So we are generally available for you--to share a cup of coffee or to visit. Or, if you prefer, we can let you have privacy, and will be attentive if you need us. Our wonderful co-host, Dabney, will be available if we are out of town.
