Cédric is French, passionate about new technologies, photography and travel, he has been living in Thailand for 4 years, after having fallen in love with Asia during a travel. He then left his work of tech developer in a communication agency and his country to settle in Asia.
Né (Patcharapon) is thai, a great lover of France, and has even learned the language at University. Although he has not yet had the chance to go there, he travels and learns more about this country every day thanks to the French visitors who come to Chiang Mai and for whom he is keen to share his culture and its traditions.
For four years they both worked as employees at the Cool Guesthouse and at Cool Asia Travel, taking care of the guests of the guesthouse and organizing trips throughout Thailand and its neighboring countries, activities, transport by train (Bangkok - Chiang Mai and others) but also by boat, bus, plane, private car, reservation and selection of good hotels, ensuring the consistency of your travel plans.
Together with Ice and Khung, they took over in 2016 the Cool Guesthouse which was created in 2010 by Nathalie, Thai, and Xavier French.
Indeed, Xavier and Nathalie have since left the old city of Chiang Mai or where the guesthouse to settle in the Thai countryside and to create a school of permaculture for children: Permaculture Children's House and raise their 2 young children there.
Thanks to their lessons during the few years that we have worked together, we are also trying to apply sustainability concepts in our everyday's life, and are developing more and more responsible tourism (with our own guides for trekking, for example ) and create new experiences for our guests by offering them a privileged contact with the locals.
