This is a room in an Ottoman liberty style townhouse in Beyoglu. The location is very central, walking distance to istiklal street, one of the main centers in Istanbul. There are many cafes, restaurants, bars, and shopping, night life.
This cozy room for one person is on the entrance floor away from the street side of the house. It gets some light but not a lot, because our building is adjacent to another building.

I provide traditional turkish breakfast with homemade marmelades. It is 5 euro per person if you want to try it. You can use the washing machine free. I give traditional turkish cooking courses in my apartment. You can also join us as my quest. If you want to organise it for yourself for your group, whole program costs 50 euro. We buy ingredients together and cook together.

Please do not smoke inside the rooms, throw your own garbage. In Istanbul the tap water is not drinkable, please buy your own drinking water. Please clean the kitchen after you use, do not leave dirty dishes, left overs, vegetable remains that can stain the working space. ıf you use the terrace and want to move the chairs, please take them back to the original place after using. Do not throw cigarettes inside the plants. For long term stays please buy your own toilette paper. Please switch off the lights that you do not use. Close the door of the terrace and switch the light off when you leave the terrace. Sorry if you feel like" why do you need to tell me such basic behaviors!". Not all but some people forget that it is not a hotel but a home. Thank you very much in advance.

I am from Adana, a town in old Cilicia, have been living in Istanbul for quite a while. I have worked in tourism sector for a long time now I am retired and want to know new people. I can speak english and I can join you through your visit to show Istanbul or giving you some local information.
I love cooking and feel myself lucky to know both eastern and wester cooking traditions of Turkey and willing to give half day cooking classes to whom it may interest.
