Restored, colonial house with a modern feel in Center Merida.
Two rooms with AC (one king size and other with two double beds), fully equipped open kitchen, small pool, hammock, living room, dining room, little garden and pond.
Our cute house is located in Merida Centro, close to Paseo Montejo, the main and most beautiful avenue that connects traditional Merida with the new and more modern part of the city.
The house has double height ceilings and pasta floors, it has been completely renovated honoring the classic Merida style. Here you will find the best of both worlds: all the amenities you will need to make a great and relaxing vacation while you enjoy the ambiance and tranquility of a Mexican house.
The main bedroom has a king size bed, TV, closet and a spacious bathroom. From the main bedroom you can exit to the living room and the pool or to the small garden and the pond where you will be able to enjoy the warm weather.
The second room has two double beds, TV, air conditioner and closet. The full bathroom is located just outside the bedroom.
Too hot? Do not worry! Turn on the ceiling fan in your bedroom and or the air conditioner and enjoy. You can also take a relaxing nap on the very comfortable hammock just outside the bedrooms or refresh in the pool.
There are also ceiling fans in the living room, the dining room and the kitchen.
We tried to maintain a typical flair in the kitchen while adding modern appliances.
In the kitchen area you will find:
Pots and pans
China, mantelpieces and cutlery for 8
Glasses and wine glasses
Serving trays and more
Please feel free to use everything as if you were in you own house.

I was born and raised in Mexico City but my heart is in Merida and the beautiful state of Yucatan.
I have two daughters, two dogs, two cats and one husband. I love to travel, enjoy a good book, like to run and to laugh. The best time of the day for me is watching the sun rise from the pool with a cup of coffee.
Some years ago we were traveling through the state and we simply fell in love with Merida. We decided to live the "small town life" so we searched high and low for the perfect place to build our house.
We found this lovely house, almost in ruins... Nonetheless we decided it was our place. We worked hard in the renovations project, we wanted to respect the local materials and construction traditions while having a comfortable house.
Our home is the base from where we explore Yucatan. I specially love the cenotes and the warm nights spent with friends in the terrace.
I am very excited to share our house and our beautiful country with you and your family.
