The luxurious, spacious garden-apartment (177 m2) is flooded with light and offers a stunning sea-view. The 25m2 terrace leads directly into the garden and to the pool. If you are lucky, you can even watch whales from the master-bedroom during the season or just let the look wander through the garden over Walker Bay! The equipment leaves little to be desired: Miele appliances, Nespresso coffee machine, Bluetooth sound system, travertine or white-washed wooden floorings (bedrooms), paintings from young South African artist Lionel Smit.... Everything one might expect is here. Complex and lovingly furnished with an eye for detail, modern with African elements. The kitchen offers all utensils for cooking enthusiasts and has direct access to a small patio with gas braai. A/C, underfloor heating, free WiFi-access. Additional garden furniture: 4 chairs, 1 table.
The apartment is serviced by a local resident 24/7.

From the gate you can start splendid walks on the famous 'Cliff Path', marvel at whales in season and watch the cute Rock-Dassies the whole year round playing. The 'Market Square‘ of relaxed Hermanus with Supermarkets, fine boutiques, stalls with arts & crafts and a big variety of restaurants in all price ranges is just a few steps away. Your 'home away from home' is very quiet, in a peaceful atmosphere and safe environment. From Monday to Friday, complex maintenance for the 9 apartments is present. In the undercover parking you'll find the parking bay for your car. Many unspoiled beaches in and around Hermanus (Blue Flag 'Grotto Beach' i.a.)

Observing whales:
Every year, between August and November, there is a great reunion in the sea by the village of Hermanus: hundreds of humpback whales from the Antarctic make their way towards Walker Bay, where they mate and give birth to their calves. The huge mother whales often allow themselves to drift with their calves within metres off the shore – almost close enough to touch, it would seem. Further out, the young whales dive and jump. Encountering these enormous and peaceful animals makes a lasting impression on every visitor. The UNESCO has confirmed Walker Bay as being one of the best whale observatory points in the world. Hermanus is proud of its sea dwellers, and celebrates an annual ‘Hermanus Whale Festival’ every September.


What is there to see in and around Hermanus?
Hermanus is encompassed by the Atlantic ocean on one side, and unspoiled hill country on the other. Fernkloof Nature Reserve boasts various trails for walkers and hikers, which in turn offer breath-taking views of the coast and sea. The unique fynbos vegetation, including protea and numerous other indigenous plants, is a true feast for the eyes. Directly in front of ‘74 On Marine’, the “Cliff Path” coastal trail (grade: easy) meanders along the coast, passing picturesque bays and leading up to the seemingly endless sand dunes of Voëlklip (Blue Flag prize winner) at one end; at the other end, the trail leads into New Harbour. Hermanus boasts a comprehensive infrastructure with a wide variety of shops and restaurants to fit all purses.

VERY NICE FRONT LINE APARTMENT. There is no doubt that this is a very luxurious apartment opposite the ocean in a very sought after position. The Harbour House Hotel, which is right next door is very useful as you can use it's facilities and the staff are very helpful. The apartment itself is nicely furnished and very bright. The interior seating is very comfortable and there is plenty of it. It has 2 bedrooms/bathrooms and an extra toilet. It was extremely clean and well presented. There are a couple of things that were disappointing and which may stop me going back. One is that the furniture on the terrace is extremely uncomfortable and if you want to sit and relax there, it is really not possible. We also found the bed linens and pillows to be of poor quality and really not in keeping with the luxury of the apartment. However, if this does not bother you then I can recommend this apartment. The apartment was cleaned and the beds made daily by the hotel staff which is a big bonus when you are in self-catering

Great apartment with many modern and high end decorations and appliances.For once the actual place is even bigger than in the pictures.If we go back to Hermanus,this will be our first pick.

Es hat uns super viel Spaß in Deinem Appartment gemacht. Eine tolle Lage und eine tolle Einrichtung. Die Bilder vom Lionel Smit haben es uns angetan. Eine tolle Atmosphäre strahlt die großzügige Einrichtung aus. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle zurück :-)

This apartment is perfectly situated in THE CENTRE of Hermanus, it's new, large, perfectly kitted out and serviced daily. Doesn't come any better than that and when we return to Hermanus we'll definitely go back there! Dealing with Henry is a dream as well...

The apartment is a part of a hotel-apartment complex. The people at the desk we're welcoming and extremely helpful. The apartment had all we needed and it was clean,comfortable and beautiful. The neighborhood is beautiful, right across from the ocean and near restaurants and shopping. We ate a great steak restaurant called B's which is about a mile away.

The location of this apartment is excellent, and the interior immaculate. I can definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for something extraordinary.

Only could stay two nights in Heiners appartment at the end of our stay in SA. What a treat! Beautiful, well equipped, chic apartment with stunning views at a perfect location! Good facilities; the affiliated hotel, internet, parking, restaurants close-by, hospitality (and even a weber BBQ outside:)). Just perfect. If we could, we would love to come back and immediately book this apartement again for a longer period. Whales right outside our doorstep! Great! Boys (7 and 9 ) loved it. Too bad weather was too cold yet to swim for them....Heiner responded very quickly. Thanks. Highly recommendable. Enjoy! Muriel & family
