As you enter the property from 240th Street SW, my unit is in the very first building. I am at the top of the stairs (2 flights).
If you have a car, there are ample FREE parking spaces available to you. The spaces are clearly marked 'VISITOR'. If you park in a covered spot, you will be towed without warning. Towing fee is $140.00 (payable to the towing company). Resident ONLY parking spaces are the covered spaces.
Modest bedroom in a condo community, just north of downtown Seattle. The parking is free and there are two small malls where you'll be able to find just about anything that you forgot to bring with you.
The room originally had a full-sized bed, and I recently upgraded to a Queen. The private bathroom is across from your bedroom and that was recently remodeled as well. Clean linen is provided. If your stay is longer than a week, your bed linen will be changed weekly. Additional sheets are in the dresser drawer in your room, if you feel the need to change it before I do. Just let me know so that I can wash the dirty set.
When you use the shower, please be mindful of turning off the bathroom fan and the lights when you're done. A wet floor causes falls. To avoid that, the shower curtain liner (plastic) must remain on the inside of the tub to prevent water from splashing onto the bathroom floor.
I would be happy to provide you with dinner for an additional fee. Continental breakfast (tea or coffee, bread and jam & a fruit) provided. On the weekend you may be treated to either hot homemade bread or muffins.
There are many restaurants in the neighborhood. Public transportation is very close -walking distance -. Express buses will take you to downtown Seattle and to the University of Washington. The Community College is a bus ride away (20 mins). Nearby, within walking distance is a grocery store, TJ Maxx, Burlington Coat Factory, Costco and Home Depot. Swedish Hospital is a 5-min drive. Two churches are within walking distance. Country farms (a Farmer's market) is within walking distance. Nail and massage parlors are also within walking distance.
My place is light and airy with lots of windows. The neighborhood is an adult community so it's extremely quiet.
