The Location

Natura Vista is located in San Pedro, Bingag, Dauis, Bohol near Panglao Island Nature Resort and San Pedro public beach, about 15-20 minutes drive from the touristic Alona Beach. It is not a beach front resort, but the place itself is a unique sanctuary in the middle of a fishing community - perfect for nature lovers, budget travelers, adventurers or for people who wish to immerse and experience the local feel of Bohol! Unlike most resorts, what it offers is the genuine provincial experience for the guests, without sacrificing convenience and comfort.

Natura Vista is very near two beaches - the San Pedro Public Beach and the private beach of Panglao Island Nature Resort and Spa. The San Pedro Public Beach is only less than a minute walk away. It is a raw, undeveloped public beach which is a boat docking station to the local fishermen.

These several public beaches may at first seem only as boat docking stations to the fishermen, but pack your water shoes or beach booties and get ready to discover hidden sanctuaries, exciting beach coves, and amazing colored rock formations that are not yet known to the tourists!

Right beside that is the Panglao Island Nature Resort and Spa, which is one of the most luxurious resorts in Bohol. You can enjoy the world-class resort amenities which include the private beach, infinity pool, jacuzzi, natural cave, man-made island.

For a more exotic swimming experience, you may also hike a little further to the Hinagdanan Cave - a naturally lighted cavern an underground lagoon which is also a popular swimming spot.

Combined with Bohol's lush greenery, pristine beaches and break-taking natural beauty, Natura Vista is definitely your Ultimate Provincial Experience!

Cómo moverse

Because the place is located near the beach, guests will need to walk for about 5 minutes to get to the highway. From the highway you can hail jeepneys going to Tagbilaran City. Tricycles or Motorcycles for hire or locally known as "habal-habal" are also available. The resort also has its own van and car for rent available for your convenience.

The best way to go around however is to rent your own self-drive motorcycle so you can freely roam around the area anytime you like. :)

Otros aspectos destacables

We have very warm and friendly people around the neighborhood. Most of them always smile and happily wave when they see tourists walking around. Wave back - this will make their day brighter!

We at Natura Vista is doing our best to help out the people in the village. We are employing the locals - from the cook, the driver, the boatmen. By booking a room, buying a tour, renting a boat, or getting a massage, remember that you are also helping the locals of this small but beautifully untouched fishing community.

Polecamy :) Super Klimat w samym ośrodku, do plaż Alona i Dumaluan 15 minut na skuterze. Plaża przy ośrodku średnio nadaje się do plażowania, dlatego skuter must be :) ale polecamy bo warto dla klimatu miejsca :)

Natura Vista is amazing place. You can stay there and not going anywhere else, just relax in perfect ambience. Place in real looks even better than on photos, especially at night. Place is modernizing and expanding with passion all time.

The place was easy to find on a motorcycle. The staff was very friendly right from the beginning. I had some stomach problems from Taiwan and they made sure I have everything I need to feel better. I was also upgraded to a room with a private veranda! The room was simple yet cozy and clean. The veranda itself was perfect for relaxing and eating. I recommend eating at their place instead of eating out because the food (and drinks) is fresh and so yummy and you get to eat in their jungle-like garden. I highly recommend trying their veggie soups and fish. Also, their fresh calamansi juice is great. The nearby beach is little unmaintained because it's used mostly by fishermen but if you have your own motorcycle/scooter (you can rent from them) there are countless beach options on the island just minutes away. Thanks, I had a great stay at your place! Hope to see you again.

(内有中文)Good location, very quiet place. Nice design. Although the food served could be better. We also had some problems while checking in. We were told that we were put into a upgraded room while in fact this was quiet a big downgrade. The problem was fixed the next day and after packing again we moved into the correct room.

Natura vista Crew was friendly and nice the only problem that I encountered is the cleanliness of the room/ linens and the tour package without a tour guide or atleast Someone that will lead you to all Activities.

Natura Vista is located on the mostly rural island of Panglao, and is very adorable as seen in photos. It is quite far by walking to essentially anything; the nearest restaurant or town is over an hour's walk away, so if you don't plan on driving or using tricycle taxis you will be far from beaches, etc. My stay at Natura Vista was a bit mixed. Quennie arranged an airport pickup which was good, but when we arrived the wrong room was prepared for us and the one we had booked was unavailable. I had to push to make clear we had the wrong room and had to stay in a cheaper room for the first night because of the mix-up. After this, Quennie moved us to the correct room. There is a 500 peso cash deposit, which wasn't mentioned and I would've rather been on Airbnb. The space outside your room is all communal, so while you can find a private spot, nothing is marked as yours. In addition, there is often loud music playing from about 8am-8pm, which takes away from the BEAUTIFUL surroundings and tranquil nature of the place. The staff are helpful (which is good, you'll need to ask for essentially everything including water). Note that the Internet, seemingly on all of Panglao island, is VERY slow and to top it off most routers are cheap and over utilised. The only time we could get somewhat useable Internet was at night when staff had left and people were presumably asleep. Panglao Islaand Resort is nice and right next door; you can visit for the day for 400 pesos per person. Overall we liked the place but the location made us feel a bit isolated and you'll need to drive to see much of anything.

Respuesta de Quennie:
Hi Matthew, thanks for your review. I apologize once again for the mix up, it was a crazy month where my new assistant mixed up a lot of things and a lot of rooms, but she's not with us anymore. Like I mentioned when you were here, we are very sorry for this. I'm just surprised though that you said you had to push for this, since I agreed right away that it was wrong when you showed it to me. The deposit is just a standard procedure in hostels and hotels here in Bohol, which we of course return upon check-out. It was taught in seminars and has become so normal in the hospitality industry in this country that we thought nothing of it.. when guests refuse to pay it though, we don’t really force them. I really hope you've said something. Same as the music.. we apologize that it has inconvenienced you. If you would have mentioned that, we would have turned it off right away without question. We always want the guests to be happy with where they are, that’s why I kept asking you when we saw each other everyday if you were okay here.. and you kept assuring me that you loved the place, except for the fact that you and your girlfriend were sick. I have also mentioned that we have another place near Alona beach. At the time of your stay there were guests who really wanted to be at Natura Vista but we were fully booked.. if we knew that you guys felt isolated, we would have happily made the reservations for a private room for you and your girlfriend at our Alona branch and made room for the ones who really wanted to be in this location. That’s why we give a detailed description of the location in the details and also in our emails – to make sure that the guests who wanted be more in the center will be placed in our Alona Branch. We talked to each other almost everyday here, so I’m just sad knowing that we could have made things more pleasant for you and your girlfriend if you would have mentioned something. Anyway, it was still nice to meet you and I hope you have more happy travels with The Motorbike. :)

The host was very helpful and kind. She gave very detailed and accurate directions. We stayed at a different location than the one advertised here, but it was clean and in an excellent and convenient location. The walls were very thin however, so light sleepers bring ear buds!

Hi, I'm Q!

We have a small eco-sanctuary in the island of Panglao, Bohol, Philippines called Natura Vista. It is a unique little paradise in the middle of a fishing community surrounded by the the fisher folks of this beautiful, untouched area. The structures are made of natural materials and are partly powered by solar panels. Natura Vista is perfect for nature lovers, budget travelers, adventurers or for travelers who wish to immerse and experience the local feel of the province! Unlike most resorts, what it offers is the genuine provincial experience without sacrificing convenience and comfort.

Please let me know how can I help you. If you are coming in a group, please do view my other listings for more room accommodation options. I'll be happy to answer all your inquiries! :)
