Set in a clearing amidst 100 acres of untouched forests in Uttrakhand, a couple of hours away from Nainital is a 80 year old house in the South Gola range of Himalayas, with stunning views of Nanda Devi and the surrounding peaks on clear days.
Padan : Named after the gorgeous Himalayan wild cherry tree is the inspiration for this room. Mesmeric when in bloom with its delicate flowers, this room aspires for the same delicacy in its impact. This compact room on the first floor offers supremely magnificent views of the Himalayas, lounge on the bed let nature roll over you, sip masala chai, read, think or just drift let the peace and silence sink in.

Gusts will have full access to the entire 40 Acre campus for long walks and picnics. We have common dining room and lounge on the first floor. We can also organise treks for guests with prior information. The stay cost includes all meals and porter charges for carrying your baggage from Matial village to Jilling Terrces

At Jilling Terraces you will be hosted by our estate manager, Mr Dileep Chander and his wife Bimla. Bother are locals from the area and are very well informed about local culture, cuisine and lifestyle. They are warm and charming couple and live at the estate.

Village Matial is our last point on Road
You can park your vehicles at Matial Village, [parking costs are not included in the pricing]
Jilling is located at a moderate 45min climb on a cobbled wide pathway.
House staff will receive you at the base station [Matial Village] they will carry your baggage and also bring some refreshments.
To live with nature one needs to respect the surroundings, enjoy the silence and wilderness!
