We live on a small island and occasionally we have power cuts. When this happens there is nothing that I can do but wait for the power to come back on. Usually power outages last less then two hours. It's part of life in the tropics.
We have snakes - but there are no venomous snakes in The Bahamas- so if you see one, do not be afraid. They are MUCH more afraid of you.
Cars drive on the left so PLEASE pay attention when crossing the roads, always look BOTH ways.
Scooters can be a fun way to explore, but they can also be very dangerous, wear a helmet! If you rent a scooter bring it inside the courtyard for the night. They are easily stolen.
We'd like guests to respect our privacy and we will do the same. We are quiet, so we hope you are too. We ask that guest turn off the airconditioning when you are not in the apartment. Smoking is not permitted inside, but if you want to smoke outside you are welcome to. Please make sure to lock the courtyard gate as you come and go. Check in time is 4pm and check out is at 11am. If there is no guest checking in on the day you leave we are happy to let you check out late, just ask! Minimum Booking age is 21.

I have three amazing kids and we are usually fostering some type of rescued animal, from kittens to kestrals and everything in between.
The five things I cannot live without (besides my children) are:
