Make yourself at home in this bright, warm 2 bedroom / 2 bath nest in the middle of all that Cambridge has to offer. Ideally located for walking to cafes, restaurants, and shops. An easy 10 minute stroll to Harvard Square passing right through Harvard Yard. Or a 10 minute walk to the bars and shops of Central Square. Very convenient living within walking distance of Whole Foods and several other grocery stores, as well as a 10 minute walk to the T - be in the heart of downtown Boston in 25 minutes! Perfect for sabbatical rental for academics visiting Harvard / MIT / BU / Tufts and other area universities.
The apartment itself is clean and spacious - on a corner, so plenty of light and overlooks a small children's park across the street which seems to be very popular with the Gymboree set on a sunny day! Enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony watching the neighborhood go by. Just off the main road, so you have both accessibility, but also quiet tree-lined streets.
There are two bedrooms available, each with comfortable queen sized beds, and closet space. Enjoy the wonderful open plan living room and dining and fully equipped modern kitchen. You will love cooking here! There is wifi and a flat screen tv with Apple TV as well as cable tv.
This is my main home though I only live here part time as I travel extensively for work. Seems a shame to let the place sit empty for so much of the time!
A City Street Parking Permit can be available through prior arrangement.

After a few years' experience, it is my policy to rent only directly to the person who will actually be staying in the apartment. This applies to anyone searching for accommodation on behalf of family, friends, colleagues, etc. In my experience, it's the best way to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay with clear communication and expectations for all!
This is my main home when I am in Cambridge (about half the time), though I will do my best to move most personal effects to the storage room so the place feels your own. Even though I may be out of town, my friend who is a professional property manager is available to help with any problems you have when you're here.
This is an apartment on the second floor of a three family home. There are 1.5 flights of stairs up to the apartment and no elevator available. Please, please be very considerate of neighbors both upstairs and downstairs - i.e. please remove heels when walking around the apartment, no zumba dancing, etc. :)
This house is NOT appropriate for large parties.
This house is not child-proofed - there are floor plants and small objects at low-lying levels, etc.
Also, no pets please due to allergies.
There is no smoking on the premises - including the balcony. Have a nice walk around the neighborhood :)
Please just leave everything as you found it. Don't forget to turn everything off, close the windows and turn the heat or a/c down before you leave. It's all about the Golden Rule...
I travel a lot for work and pleasure, mostly around the US and in Europe, but have made Boston my home for the last 10 years. I love to cook for myself and friends (and finally have a great kitchen for doing so!) and appreciate the value of a cozy, comforting home base when I'm here. I hope others can enjoy it when I'm not!
