Experience peace and tranquility in this clean & bright Spanish style cottage. Located in LA's recently voted "Neighborhood of the Year" by Curbed LA. Up to date with current energy efficient upgrades, without lacking comfort or style. Central and extremely close to all things Los Angeles.

This is 1 bedroom in a 2 bedroom house, located in a peaceful, mostly quiet, and beautiful neighborhood in the heart of Los Angeles. The bedroom has a queen sized bed (plush mattress), a desk, half of a closet with plenty of hangers and a dresser for your use.

In the living room you will find lots of vintage pieces I've collected over the years to add functionality but also an inviting, comfortable and open feeling; adding to the Spanish style vibes.

The fully insulated home maintains an average temperature of 75 degrees in the hotter summer months (***NO Air Conditioning***), and around 72 degrees in the winter. Operable window and ceiling fan allow for added cooling at night.

Street parking is available if you are driving (no parking pass needed). This is an urban area, parking availability can fluctuate tremendously if any activities are happening in the neighborhood. Parking is not usually a problem. Some walking may be involved. Most of the time within a short block's distance.

Backyard with a wood burning fire pit (fire wood not guaranteed, but usually on hand)

Help yourself to any fruits or veggies that are ripe for picking in the garden.

Help yourself to use of the refrigerator and ice box.

Plenty of dishes, cups, utensils, etc.

The dishwasher works, so you and I don't have to.

Coffee maker, toaster, crock pot , microwave, gas oven/range, etc.
Feel free to utilize any of the above.

Help yourself to the in-home laundry machine as well; detergent and all.

I will try to ensure I am home to greet you upon arrival and show you around the place. If I am out of town for any reason, I will provide you with lock box access.

Weekdays I am usually out of the house early in the morning until early evening. Weekends are variable.

I am a "go with the flow" kind of guy. That being said, you can be as private or communal as you prefer, or as time permits.

Happy to help you navigate the city, share some of my favorite eateries, music venues, and other points of interest in and around the city. Continually updating my Guidebook.

Make yourself at home!

Restaurants in walking distance include, but not limited to: Delicious Pizza, Vees Cafe, Normandie Cafe, Mariscos, Daily Organics; a local Farm fresh produce market, Advanced Food Market; a quaint little grocer across the street, with a great carniceria, and produce section.
Fais Do Do; a beautiful art deco style night club a few blocks down the street, which has been making a come back on the concert scene the past few years.

3 miles from West Hollywood.
5 miles from DTLA,
5 miles from Korea Town
5-7 miles from Hollywood/Silverlake.
7-8 miles from Venice Beach & Santa Monica.

Travel times vary with time of day.

Located in West Adams, central to most of Los Angeles. A split between LAX and Hollywood, or Downtown and the Pacific Ocean.

Close to the I-10 Freeway entrances La Brea & Washington, if you are driving.

The Metro Expo line, Jefferson/La Cienega stop only a half mile away, which connects you to the majority of the Los Angeles and Santa Monica.

Metro bus line 37 (one block away), which takes you on a 30 minute tour of Historic West Adams in route to Grand Central Market and other popular attractions in Downtown Los Angeles.

Los Angeles has over 4 million residence. There is a lot of traffic here; hence there will be city sounds (cars, people, garbage trucks, street sweepers, lawn mowers, babies, dogs, police sirens, fire trucks, etc) intermittently and all beyond my control.

The house is Not on a busy street, but some locals drive on it like it is the highway, so be careful like you would anywhere else in your life.

The weather is perfect here; Be careful, it's infectious!

Been called a renaissance man. I love all things, music, art, architecture, vintage cars, older people, nature and science, etc. I have been to 48 states (missing ND & LA), and a handful of countries in Europe, Mid-East, and North America. A go with the flow kind of guy.
No rules, just right.
Hope you enjoy your stay!
