Lorraine's house is one of the best places I have stayed, always had time for a little chat over a nice coffee. Very helpful with the knowledge of the surrounding area and traveling around London. If asked I'm sure that Lorraine would help anyone who stays there no matter what they need. On the top of my list if I stay close to hammersmith again.

When i arrived at Lorraine`s she made me feel comfortable as soon as i walked through the door, friendly and welcoming. The description of the room was as described on the site. Lorraine showed me around the house where my room was and the bathroom, very easy to chat too and good conversation. I would recommend anyone to stay at Lorraine`s and i will come back when i am staying in the area.

I stayed at Lorraine's place for a week whilst working in London. The place was very clean and as described on the posting. The bed is comfortable and the house was comfortably warm which was very nice when outside it was freezing. Lorraine is a very considerate person always looking to help her guests in any way possible. She was always kind and very helpful. I would go back to Lorraine's place when there is an opportunity.

The location : Nice and quiet neighborhood, residential. I felt pretty safe walking down the streets at night alone. The bnb is 10 min walk from Barnes High Street, and 15/20 min walk from Barnes Bridge Station or Barnes Station. There is a bus stopping right outside the house going to the High Street. The BnB : The room is upstairs, it's small but you have a closet to store your clothes and a space outside the room to store your luggage. There is a night stand with 3 drawers. The single bed is comfortable and the sheets are clean. There is a TV in the room and connexion to wifi is good. You can hear the planes from Heathrow airport, but I used some earplugs and I slept very well. The bathroom / toilets are private, for your own use and are downstairs, which I found convenient as I had to wake up early in the morning during the WE and I didn't have to worry about making to much noise while getting ready and taking my shower. About Lorraine : Lorraine is very welcoming, the first day she drove me to the bank so I could use the ATM, and then showed me around the area (shops, restaurants, cinema, cafés, etc...). She advised me about the buses I needed to take for my journey, and even offered me her Oyster Card as I didn't know that I needed one to take the bus (you can't pay cash in London Bus anymore and I didn't know that!). She does everything she can to make your stay comfortable and easy. She pays attention to the small details, like fresh roses in a vase on a table. For my last night, she welcomed me with an "aperitif", wine and starters, it was really kind of her, I really appreciated it. She makes you feel welcome. Thank you Lorraine!

Lorraine is as amazing host. My plane was delayed and I arrived after 1am. She welcomed me with a hot soup. I really enjoyed my stay. When I need a small room in London again I will definitely book with Lorraine. Highly recommended.
