Kapstaden var fantastisk och vi trivdes väldigt bra i lägenheten. Lägenheten har en otrolig rymd, precis som det står i annonsen. Den är smakfullt inredd och känns verkligen personlig med all konst. Läget är jätte bra, gångavstånd till massor av restauranger. District Six Museum och Slave Lodge – Iziko Museums ligger också väldigt nära, ca 5 minuters promenad. City Sightseeing South Afrika som har hop on hop off bussar har ett kontor och hållplats på Long Street, 5 minuters promenad bort. Vill man till V&A Waterfront för att äta vid hamnen eller shoppa i det stora köpcentret, så kostar det ca 50 rand med Uber. Bilderna i annonsen stämde bra överens med verkligheten.

Stylish apartment right in the centre of town, easy walk to all cafe's, restaurants, galleries, shops, etc and parking available nearby. It was exactly the experience we were after - could have been in New York!

The apartment was as advertised. We contacted Justin on the morning of our arrival to ask if we could check in earlier. He kindly informed us we could drop our bags as the cleaners would be there. We dropped our bags and returned later in the evening to find the apartment was not cleaned property and that there was dirty laundry left in the washing maching and dryer and old food in fridge, which was s dissapionting start. On the fourth day we were relaxing in the apartment it was around 10.30pm when the flat was plunged into complete darkness, there was no power. We stumbled around to find our phones my fiance was very scared. We called Blessing Justins colleague who informed us that the electricty credit had ran out and that he would go to the shop to buy more credit and would come over to get the power back on. I was amazed to hear this. We informed Justin of our dissapointment and he said that it was there mistake snd that he would compensate us for the inconvenience after that we heard nothing. Blessing arrived 30 mins later and got the power back on. I noted to Blessing that there was a bad smell in the apartment that smelt like dead rodents he said he could not smell as he had a cold, we ask if he could look into it, we did not hear back and the smell got very bad towards the end of the stay we reported this to Justin who informed us he would speak to the management co. On the day of our departure we had to have cold showers as the hot water was not working we informed Justin who said that we must have turned off a switch which we had not.

“The Wellington” is a very spacious apartment in a great location, within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, galleries, a number of museums and the Company’s Garden. It is very tastefully decorated and looks like an art gallery. As several reviewers said before, the photos don’t show how big this place is - our jaws dropped when we walked in. You are right in the middle of Cape Town. There is a lot happening in this bustling neighborhood, day and night. We enjoyed watching the New Year’s Eve parade from our second floor window. The kitchen is well equipped and the fridge was loaded with all kinds of goodies (bubbly, cheese, yogurt, milk, etc.) when we arrived. If you come by car, there is secure parking available in a garage around the corner. Just let Justin know that you need parking as there is a separate tag that gets you access. Overall a very stylish and inspiring place to explore Cape Town and the surrounding areas. Many points of interest are in walking distance. Uber is easy and fast if you need to go a little further. Very likely we will come back next time we are in Cape Town.

My partner Cameron owns a popular neighbourhood cafe called Superette with an adjacent bar space called The Golden. We also operate the Neighbourgoods Market which takes place every Saturday at the Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock.
