We stayed for 6 nights, but from we arrive till we leave their staff are doing nothing! The location was nice though it is a bit hard to find for the first time, but it is quite near to the shops in Hongdae. Thats all the good thing i can think of. After i have paid for the room, Bitnara never replay my message. She never told us what to do when we arrive. When we get there we have no idea where to find the "staff" there. We enter the guesthouse because another guest open the door for us and introduce everything in the house for us. After we enter the house for almost an hour, a guy came in said that he is the staff there. And he just repeats what the other guest just told us to introduce the house again for us. Simply he just came here to say hi and bye. The room is ok. But it was TOTALLY DIFFERENT from what you can see on airbnb. Yes, it is a bunk bed room. But the setting and design is not the same of what i can see in the photo at all! The room is so small that we can't have two suitcase open. Two closed suitcase and two person standing inside fill up all places in the room. The room is so small that the A/C can only be put right on top of my bed. There is no individual lock for each room, and we can't see the locker in our room. Other guests and staff can come in anytime. Till the day we leave, no-one told us about the check out time. At the last day we stay there, when we are having lunch in the public area (our room have no space for us to enjoy any food!). A staff came and cleaning the trash bin. When the staff know we are living in that room. She just say you have to clean your room, because the check out time already passed. I told her we will pack out things right after we finish our lunch. And no-one told us about the check out for the pass 6 night. She reply us rudely said that she still have lots of room to clean, she is very busy and we must clean the room right now! The price of this room is cheap, but I'm sure with similar prices there must be a better guesthouse in seoul!!!

A few days before I confirmed my arrival time and asked if that would be ok, I received no response but trusted someone would be there as it’s advertised as a ‘guesthouse’. The description of how to get to the flat is only accurate up to the 1st CU described, after that we were lost and had to enlist help from a friendly café owner. It is, however, close to the subway stop, no more than 10 min. Once we got there, nobody was there to receive us. On the number provided, nobody picked up and nobody responded to the messages via airbnb. One of the tenants who knows the owner happened to stumble across us sitting by the front of the building and managed to get someone to come and show us in. The owner only returned my calls after 22:00 at night. We had booked the night in the dorm for one night only as after that we moved to the private rooftop apartment, our original booking that we had decided to extend by one day. As we walked in we found that the kitchen was not clean, as did the room but the beds had fresh linen. The room for two is actually small and half in the basement which makes it a bit stuffy. There was air-conditioning though. Neither the bathroom nor the bedroom have locks. Worth mentioning is that the bathroom is an Asian-style wet room but big enough to shower. Like the rest of the flat, it was not very clean and damp with mold in places. Positive: Stable internet, very central location and the student who was then our contact person, Woosup, was always reachable when we contacted him.

Thank you Nara and his brother Jun for the sincere care during my stay. The room is exactly the same with the photos. Even it was really cold during my stay (almost -12 degree), once I was in the house, I really felt warm. I seem to be the owner in that guesthouse as usually nobody shared the room with me during the stay. The guesthouse is located so near to Hongdae and you can talk a 5-min walk and arrive Hongdae and enjoy the delicious food, the wonderful performance and take the metro to everywhere. Anyway, it is so worth to stay in this fabulous guesthouse!!!!

Everything was perfect. The owner of the hostel answered my messages very quickly and even organised someone to pick us up near the metro station. The room was clean and very nice. I would stay there any time.

From the moment I arrived at Nanu Apartments I knew I had made an excellent choice. This was my 3rd time visiting Seoul in the last year and was by far the best place I have stayed. It is centrally located in between Hongdae and Sinchon making it perfect for nights out. As I arrived, I was welcomed by the owner Nara. She is a very kind and warm hearted person and went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed and helped me organise my next few days. The Guesthouse is immaculately clean and has all the facilities you could ever need. I love the folding beds! So cool to have a bigger room when other guests aren’t using them. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone else and hope to stay here again soon! Thanks :-)
