This beautiful loft with wide space, two bedrooms, kitchenette, furnace, AC, also serves as a yoga studio, overlooking to a great and rare communal garden is located in a very calm and extremely friendly neighbourhood. It has a private entrance. It is only 5 min.s drive or 15 min.s bicycle ride away from city centre. It is on the route of the airport shuttle from Ercan, so you'll be home in 30 min.s after landing! We also provide pick-up from any checkpoint if you arrive from Larnaca.
This loft is the second floor of the house that me and my wife live in. The housing complex was build in late 80s, and the house was uniquely renovated to provide a rich perception of space, light, and cross ventilation. The open space provides a dining area next to the fully-equipped kitchenette, couches and chairs around a coffee table, and a wide space which is also utilized as a yoga studio. This part of the space also has a heating stove/furnace, which in addition to central heating system in winter, provides an extra means of heating. You can move around the furniture to fit to your needs and also use pillows that are all around the space. The gallery and staircase opening has been closed and secured with decorative wooden frames, and the loft has a private entrance from the garden.
Servicios y zonas comunes
The guests can enjoy the loft fully, also enjoy our own garden or the common garden of the housing complex which right in front of the house. Dog-lovers can also play with our dog, who is separated from the entrance (in a way that he will not jump on you when you enter from the gate:)). We also have three cats but they are not in the house and cannot access the loft in any way.
Guest enjoys pressurised distilled water for general usage but not for drinking. We are not connected to network but 4-ton capacity lasts very long. And if it runs out during anytime of your stay, we can get our tanks filled in very short time.
Atención a los huéspedes
We just live downstairs so you can let us know if you need even the slightest thing. It is a great neighbourhood, and our neighbours are always very glad to help if we are not around.
Our neighbourhood can be taken as one of the most alternatively populated neighbourhoods of the city. Everyone respects each other, everyone helps everyone, they might even sometimes bring some local food which they just cooked in their kitchen. The communal garden is well taken care of, which is a rarity in Nicosia. You can always enjoy a nice breakfast in that garden, or a good book, or a few drinks.
The house is slightly away from the city centre (2 kilometers). North Nicosia bus schedules are nearly non-existing but there is a bus stop right on the main road which is 50 metres away from the house. The university buses run very frequently, making rings around the city; hence taking the journey to city centre down to five minutes. You can also cycle to the old city, we also rent bicycles (we have 2) for a cheap fee.
The main road is also the route of the airport shuttles. So, if you are travelling from Ercan Airport, and can stop at that bus stop; so, you can be home in 20 minutes by the bus. If you are coming via Larnaca Airport, I can pick you up from any checkpoint.
If you are coming for a slightly longer holiday, you can use this loft as a base and rent a car and go to Kyrenia in 20 minutes, and Famagusta in 40 minutes. Since it is very close to the main intercity road, traffic is never an issue.

I love music and I am a good conversationalist and keen on cooking in different cuisines. I am a producer (entertainment) / estate investor. Both are my own businesses. I am a man of more alternative tastes, hence you will be advised to use my own local guide to Nicosia (on a bulletin board in my flat), next to all that touristy stuff and historical places. I am an activist at heart, and heavily humanitarian. I enjoy good music and good movies. I appreciate all things being done sincerely, for their own sake and without a hidden agenda. I lived in Turkey, England and France. Traveled mainly in Europe and once to south east Asia.
