Normas de la casa

We do accommodate all legal smoking laws in Colorado, however we ask they are practiced outside and that all flames are safely extinguished. Please respect there is an extreme fire danger in this area.

We do not allow pets on the beds. (please!) We have invested in top of the line beds and the best of bedding. This is expensive to replace.

We have a waiver in your cabin that must be signed to cover extra curriculum activities that we offer, like ATV rides, snowshoeing, sledding, hiking, camping and exploring. We ask that each guest signs the waiver upon arrival and is then ready to have some fun!!

Any photoshoots or commercial photography must be pre approved and discussed. We appreciate and share professional and casual social media tagging.

Common sense courtesy is expected and returned.

Campfires must be approved by host and only in designated areas. There are often county fire bans and wind conditions that often restrict this activity. We provide firewood for heating the cabin and also enough for a few hours at the communal campfire. If you think your needs will exceed this, bring your own, or buy from host at $5 bundle. We ask that campfires are extinguished by 12 am.

Any items missing from cabins after check out will be billed to credit card. We try hard to make them special, authentic places for everyone to enjoy.

We ask that you respect our property and leave it in its place upon your departure.

Food in coolers must be kept inside vehicle or cabin.

The property was beautiful and a lot of detail was paid to the cabin's decor and amenities. Hosts really equipped it so well with plenty of water, sugar, coffee, utensils, etc. Amy and her husband were so kind, and it truly felt like we could ask if we needed anything. Being out and away from cell service was super relaxing and everything we needed on this trip. The night sky from this property is spectacular, and the road right in front of the cabins takes you directly into the national forest. Only mild, super mild, thing to note was that since the cabins are really close to the main house, if they have family or friends over it can be a little loud. However, Amy came to check on us and was apologetic for the noise, and she is so kind that it really wasn't a bother.

If you're looking for a great Old West experience to stay at, this is definitely the place. This is the best place I've ever stayed at in the world. All the little features in the room, the cabin itself and the setting were spot on Old West country. Amy and John are fantastic people, really cool and fun to hang out with. Had an awesome experience here. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would.

What an amazing place to stay! My children and I enjoyed a wood fired pizza at a restaurant in Walden, then retreated to our cabin, the Trapper Cabin. Amy has thought of everything and the cabin is charming. We enjoyed hot chocolate and marshmallows while we read from the books in the cabin. At night, the sky came alive and I even saw the milky way. I hope to come again and explore more of the property!

Could not have asked for a more magical time up in the mountains! We met up with Amy at Mansker Station for pizza and beer, where she gave us a great set of recommendations for activities. Back on the property, we went on an ATV ride to the sand dunes with John and that was a real highlight of the trip. And of course, the cabin itself was exactly as pictured and so perfect!

Trapper cabin was a great experience to get away from it all. . Amy is an excellent host and all their property was beautiful. Plenty of options for day trips and Amy definitely doesn't make you feel rushed when it comes time for check out. I would highly recommend staying on their property and hopefully can do it again myself soon!

The adorable one room cabin was a perfect place to get away. It is close to several hiking trails and Amy provided detailed information about the area. Thank you for allowing our pets to join us.

The cabin is super super cute with a great character inside and outside. The bed is so comfortable that it's hard to wake up and it's so big (more than a king bed) that it could accommodate a couple and two kids. Even if the cabin is small, it's big enough for everything and it comes with coffee machine ( coffee capsules included), microwave, water dispenser (hot and cold) and also an electric portable stove. Outside the view is great. Amy and John are very nice and they came to say hello. I would recommend it for sure!
