Normally I dont answer reviews, but for future guests, I think we need to this time.
All our guests are welcomed to OUR LITTLE FARM ( that`s typical for this area), in the first mail. In the information, the valley and the farm is also described (70 sheep, 2 horses, goats , chickens, ducks, cat and dog).
So, About the cleaning fee, this was told in the information in our listing in Airbnb, and a reminder was given in the mail. However, as I wrote in the mail, Guests that booked after June 1, now pay this extra cleaning fee through Airbnb`s plattform, and then Airbnb pay it to us.
All our guests that booked before June 1, have payed us directly for this, you have payed 50% of this. We are sorry that this made you so upset that it spoiled your stay. Airbnb never told us it was forbidden, but this year they recommend that hosts changed this practice, so we did.
We consider our self as normal, nice hosts. In the end of the summer we also go back to other work and dont always spend the whole day at the farm. But as we tell in our listing, we live on the farm, are often outside, and we are available if guests want to ask for advice or need information. Kids can help feeding, mostly the goats and lamb if they like. We are interested in people, where they are from and how they live their lives. Ok, I am a superhost "for how long", but I dont entertain my guests, I am just myself, sorry if that disappoint you.
To future Guests; read all the other reviews from this summer! And Welcome to our little farm!
