We call it the bunkhouse at little hill, our small farm/homestead, with sheep, veggies, berries, and fruit trees right on the water in nordland. The bunkhouse is a sweet, private, cozy, out-building, rustic, quiet, easy to bike or kayak in & out of.

little hill is our small family homestead, right on marrowstone island's mystery bay -- where we raise organic lamb, clams, oysters, fruits and vegetables. we love to share the place with friends and friends of friends...
join us for a weekend in the bunkhouse, our private rustic out-building: with one queen size bed, a double bed pull out couch and two twin futons it can sleep up to six in its one large sleeping cabin. the bunkhouse has its own kitchen that can look out over the bay, and private outdoor shower, that looks out over our orchard pasture.
Its all very simple, rustic, and beautiful --and there is a ton to do: great beaches a short walk from our place, biking, kayaking, birds to watch, wonderful historic Port Townsend is 25 mins away and Fort Flagler State Park is five miles away for great views and beaches...
We are rustic though. Just the way we like it. The bunkhouse' s gypsy kitchen has a two-burner gas cook top, coffee maker, small oven, fridge and BBQ. Just ask for anything else you need. It has private warm outdoor showers, a composting toilet and heat with a wood stove.

We're innkeepers and have been for 20 years (at la finca caribe on vieques island, Puerto Rico) so we know that some guests want more interaction and others, less, or virtually none. We're good either way. Its about you having a good time.

bill and i bailed from the full time work a day world to focus on little hill, the finca in the winter months, our family, friends, and grandkids. we have had la finca on vieques for almost years now, and little hill for eight. we love both homesteading -- raising our own food (organic lamb and veggies on marrowstone) living simply, and sharing both places with others.
Bill was an architect in Seattle, and before that NYC . I've worked most of my life in corporate sustainability and as a creative director in seattle, weird combo I know. But I always wanted to be an innkeeper and a now I'm a little of each, and very very grateful...
