Fell in love with Akumal over 20 years ago--primarily because of SCUBA diving and all of the fabulous people here--it is a true community. I couldn't get enough of Akumal, and my trips to Far East and Europe paled in my comparisons, so bought my first small place here in 1994.
I now enjoy sharing this love of Akumal with my guests and telling them about places and things to do that are not covered in the regular tourists' information. But, also warn therm--be careful...you can lose your heart here. Whether the attraction is the crystal clear waters, the friendly locals, the tranquil setting, or nesting turtles...the savvy traveler simplicity, its serenity, its soul.
Mickey (the dog), Pablo (the manager), Milly (the maid), and I welcome you to Tranquilidad Properties and want you to know that our style of hosting attempts to indulge, invigorate, and revitalize your senses--you become our important reason for being here.
