Anderby Creek was voted one of the UK's best undiscovered beaches by AOL, The Times & The Telegraph.
The house has simply beautiful views of the beach, sea and sand dunes with extensive decking surrounded by glass balustrade where you can sit outside and enjoy the sea air.
It's a family home, fully centrally heated and comfortable. Expect mismatched crockery & imperfection!
It's a steep drive up to the house & steps to the beach (although you can go around the drive way) so not suitable for all

¿Dónde me voy a quedar?

Anderby Creek, Inglaterra, Reino Unido

Over 10 miles of wonderful and clean sandy beaches with protection from the dunes. The area is part of a 60 acre Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust reserve with coastal and country walks in all directions. Several of the Lincolnshire 'structures by the sea' are close by with the Cloud Bar directly to the side of the house and easily seen from the decking or the bathroom window!
Anderby Creek is generally very quiet and it's like having your own private beach for much of the time. In the busier Summer months you can sit and people watch from the decking or the warmth of the conservatory if it's a typical British Summer!
There is the Anderby Beach Cafe directly below the house which serves fabulous breakfasts and lovely lunches. You can sit in the garden (dogs allowed) try out the beach huts, or indoors in the cafe itself. They also have a small shop selling ice-creams and beach essentials and a licence if you fancy a tipple. A few minutes walk up the lane you can find the Creek Tavern and Popa's Bar. Both serve food and drink. There are lots of pubs and restaurants in nearby towns and the fish & chip van comes to deliver on Fridays.
There is a little convenience store on the Ravenna site, small supermarkets nearby in Chapel St Leonards & Sutton & larger ones in Skegness & Mablethorpe. You can also get deliveries but be prepared for the drivers to be out of breath after pulling the trolleys up the hill! Skegness also has an M&S foodhall.
The typical English seaside activities can be found at Mablethorpe, Ingoldmells & Skegness: slot machines, amusements, rides, crazy golf and of course bingo!
Mablethorpe is home to the seal sanctuary as well as a water park (think wipeout meets it's a knockout and you won't be far out). It also has a lovely small cinema and there is another cinema in Skegness.
Inland are lovely little villages which often host events such as the 40s' weekend in August. Nearby Alford has a pretty market square and slightly further afield you can find the RAF museum.
Fishing (if you have a licence), paddle boarding, kayaking and sea swimming are all right in front of you of course and the ever present wind makes kite flying a popular pastime on the beach.
If you're an early riser the sunrises over the sea can be absolutely spectacular but if you can't face the early start don't worry - you can console yourself with the even more beautiful sunsets from the front of the house. As the house is perched up on the bank there is nothing blocking your view and it can be truly astonishing at times.
