This old Fisherman's Cottage is 30 seconds from the Baie de Somme, 20 seconds from the bakery, and less than a minute to various cafes and restaurants, not to mention the Sunday Market, which is basically at the bottom of the road.

Flat screen, radio, CD, gas cooker, heating throughout, washing machine and dryer, a demi-bath with a hand shower, Gaz BBQ, al fresco eating in the tiny courtyard and 3 bikes, varying in size. (Tyre pump provided..). There's also a bike shop less than a minute away.

That's a bit tricky as I'm in New York, however, my trusty housekeeper, Caroline Watrigant is 3 houses away.

The neighbourhood is awesome. You can eat haute cuisine or cafe style all within minutes. You can reserve a walk across the Baie to Le Crotoy, or you can take the little steam train. It's not far to the WW1 path either.

Park at the top in the free car park and walk down.

The Somme Battlefields Tourist trail starts within a few miles. Joan of Arc was imprisoned in St Valery and william the Conqueror set off to Hastings from St Valery. Check out the St V website as there are always great festivals and live music, theatre and more to see.

TV, Gaz BBQ, lovely table, chairs and sun parasol in the courtyard. Free parking at the top of the hill.

If needed, guests will interact with our housekeeper based nearby.

Everything important is accessible by foot. The air is incredibly fresh, there are lovely walks and there are many nice restaurants and bars close by.

In season you can explore Le Crotoy and Cayeaux by taking taking the miniature steam train, from the centre of town. Or cylce. Or walk.

I wish I was there!

My beloved cottage was incredibly difficult for me to keep when I moved away to NY. I renovated it by going back and forth from the USA over a couple of years. Please treat it and all the lovely neighbours with respect. Oh and please don't smoke indoors.

A Brit living in New York for the past 14 years, I couldn't bear to give up my little French cottage when I moved here to Long Island, NY. So I kept it and you can stay in it!!
