The Church, built in 1887, remodelled in 1966, sits on a rise at the edge of the village. Recently converted into a unique holiday home.
It is light,spacious, has all amenities and is in strolling distance of cafes, restaurants, galleries and pool.
The open plan living area has a king size bed beneath the stained glass window. There is a television and a good selection of quality DVDs, CDs, books and games, plus an additional sofa bed.
The electric kitchen is fully equipped and the large blue gum dining table accommodates spread newspapers as well as breakfast, lunch or dinner. The bath and shower are fuelled by instant gas hot water and there is a gas BBQ on the veranda. The 5 metre high ceiling and tall windows give excellent light and the furnishings are unique - the bed and table being custom made, the pulpit has been incorporated into the kitchen with the large dining table opposite.
The yard is enclosed to contain labradors and leap-challenged smaller dogs. There are vegetables and fruit trees which offer modest harvest in season and there is ample firewood for the combustion stove in winter.

Once you arrive, you could leave the car alone. It is a 3 minute dawdle to galleries, cafes, restaurants and The Friendly Inn. The pool and playground are over the road and the swimming hole below Hampden Bridge and the two canoeing companies are a little further. If you have a bike, there is a sealed path heading out of town in both directions. The golf club is about 5 kms away and Berry is 20 kms over the mountain to the east and Bowral 40 kms to the north.
Quality linen and towels are provided and the kitchen has everything you need to cook with, except the raw materials of course - there are oils, spices, condiments and all the appliances.
