Often there are many factors to consider when rating a place in order to ensure other travelers can be informed when choosing their living experience. So I will break this down with location and unit.
1. Location - Casco Viejo is one of the most exciting parts of Panama City. Under intense revitalization, it is growing as a hot spot to stay, with dining options increasing, coffee shops growing, and photo opportunities and understanding of old panama changing daily. It's a great area, and walking and exploring is fun. A new super market has opened around the corner - and anything you may need is easily within walking distance. It's a great part of the city to stay.
2. The unit itself. The unit is everything that is advertised. It is a large duplex style of unit with windows facing the street and a small balcony for viewing the water and modern Panama. The kitchen is well appointed. Every day the unit is cleaned - not superficially - they really come in and scrub. The bed is changed and made. If anything is missing (coffee maker in my case), a quick trip to the office downstairs and one was in the unit within an hour. Breakfast is served every day downstairs, and on Sunday, when the restaurant is closed, a small breakfast is prepared and delivered the night before. It really is an amazing value for Panama and one that should be experienced.
I highly recommend a stay here, and will be staying again if I have need.
