Comfortable queen-size bed in private sunny room.
Perfect location; walk to the best restaurants, bars and small shops on Bardstown Rd. 10 minute walk to Cherokee Loop, 10 minute drive to downtown Louisville or Churchill Downs.
**It need not be stated, but everyone's privacy and comfort is respected. Guests understand that the common areas are for all to enjoy, however, our private bedrooms are private areas, not to be entered.
*We pick up after ourselves in the common areas to leave it ready for others to use.
*This is a non-smoking home. The back patio and the covered front porch offer lots of comfortable seating for those who would like to smoke.
*A shelf in the refrigerator will be clear and available for each guests' personal use.
*Pets; I have allowed guests traveling pets to stay but have had some problems, so I ask that your pup please not have any health issues, not smell, arrive bathed and that paws are thoroughly wiped off before entering after walks.
*For my long-term guests; partners, parents and others are more than welcome to come for a visit and stay in your room at no charge. However; please understand that no outside guests are to be invited into the house without pre-approval. More directly stated; do not bring home a person you have just met. Please understand that this is my home that I live in after you have left. I do not wish for non-approved people to know my home intimately, my belongings, keys etc.. for my, and all other guests', future safety.

I enjoy travel and making new acquaintances. I have worked and played all over the world but love to come home to my fabulous hometown of Louisville. There are always so many activities to fill your week: live music, dancing, art exhibits, classes, meet-ups with friends (and that all is within walking distance from my home!) - the difficult part becomes choosing what to do :-)
