This is the most hypercriical review we have had since becoming hosts with Airbnb. Except for this review, we have really had only one bad review since 2013, when we started. As far as rules, every Airbnb has rules and for reasons. In the case of food and drink in the rooms, before this rule, we experienced stains on the bedding and floor covering. Antonia fails to mention that the posted notice offers the use of the nook on the first floor to eat and enjoy beverages. In fact, the first day, Chikako set three places at the nook table with place mat, napkins, plates and cups for our guests' convenience. As far as the short showers, California experienced a drought of several years that was broken but we are still required to conserve water. We installed a new toilet in Antonia's bathroom the day before she and her family arrived and it is low flow per flush toilet - as are all new toilets being installed in recent years. As far as egg for breakfast, we asked Antonia the first day if she could eat an omelet the next morning, even though she is vegetarian. She said she could eat an omelet. For the last breakfast Chikako prepared small open face sandwiches (among several other items), three of which were egg, so that Anja and Raphael could enjoy the egg ones and Antonia could pass them by and enjoy the other ones. As far as the room and the neighborhood, we have never had complaints about the ambient light, the train and airplanes noise, and bed squeaks. Anja told Patrick she could never live in Frankfurt am Main because ii is too noisy (she and Antonia and Raphael are from the north of Germany and a much smaller town than Frankfurt). To attribute such things to the host's accomodation is over the top from our point of view.
