Recently renovated, spacious 1BR English basement in classic DC row house near bustling H Street Corridor. 2 blocks from Union Market. 5 blocks from DC Metro Red Line at NoMa/Gallaudet stop. Well equipped kitchen.

With Union Market and the bustling H Street Corridor right around the corner, this charming, fully equipped English basement apartment offers the best DC has to offer: a hip and happening neighborhood and quick, easy access to the DC metro to put you within minutes of the nation’s most iconic sites.

Our one bedroom apartment has a queen bed, and the living room offers a full-sized pull-out option. There is a full kitchen and bathroom, and spacious living room. The entire apartment is professionally cleaned prior to arrival.

*Check-In is at 4 p.m. and Check-Out is at 11 a.m.*

What else does the space include?
-A hairdryer is located under bathroom sink.
-Bedding for queen pull-out located under couch.
-An iron and ironing board located in the closet with the washer/dryer unit.
-A chest of drawers is located in the master closet.
-Cable TV
-Toaster
-Keurig coffee maker with pods
-Shampoo and conditioner available
-A black golf umbrella (must be returned)
-Parking pass for the neighborhood is included but MUST be returned at the end of your stay.

You are less than 0.5 miles from DC's historic H Street Corridor, which boasts dozens of top notch restaurants and bars. It was voted one of America's Best Hipster Neighborhoods, by Forbes, for a reason. We hope you get to check them out and enjoy!

There are 2 private entrances - the main entrance on Florida Ave NE and the gated entrance leading out to a small alley next to 7th St NE. We will provide the key code to a lockbox, for the front entrance, prior to check-in.

We provide a (very) local list of recommended sites, restaurants, bars, and shops. Complimentary Wi-Fi included.

There is ample street parking on 7th St NE. A parking pass for the neighborhood is available and located inside the apartment. The pass MUST be returned at the end of your stay.

We enjoy privacy on our vacation, and assume you do, too. But if you need us, we are happy to help.

DC Metro (Red Line "NoMA/Gallaudet" stop) is just 5 blocks away.

Both the front and back entrances have a set of 5-8 steps. This is a basement terrace apartment as part of a DC row house on a city street. Some ambient sounds travel through the party walls and floors. This is city living. You can expect to hear some sirens, garbage trucks, city buses, an excitable neighbor or two, and maybe a dog full of life upstairs. It's all part of the experience, and one of the reasons why we love our home.

I'm Audrey and the nation's capital has been my husband and my home away from home for nearly 15 years. I'm originally from Ohio and my husband hails from Georgia. I still get goosebumps when I visit the monuments at night, and my hands-down favorite thing to do in the city is attend a Marine Corps band concert. We hope you come visit soon to enjoy all the intrigue and remarkable beauty this grand city has to offer.
