Descripción

Situated on the road to Cape Point, Watercolours is directly opposite the Indian Ocean at the foot of the Simonsberg Mountain range. The "Navy" upper sea facing suite with queen size bed, has a shower en suite & a balcony with spectacular views

Situated just outside Simon's Town, within walking distance to four great beaches, Watercolours overlooks the ocean and the mountains beyond the bay. We are a mere 20 minute drive to Cape Point and 5 minutes drive from the Penguin Colony.
Our spacious suites each accommodate two people.

Solar heated 11m long outdoor swimming pool, overlooking the sea. Library, large landscaped indigenous gardens, three separate viewing decks with spectacular sea views. Fully equipped conference room available by separate quotation.

As much as is needed. Never intrusive, but helpful with local area knowledge. Owners live on the property.

Simon's Town boasts a fully working Naval dockyard, four museums, a yacht club, a golf course, a number of Victorian era buildings which house an interesting mix of shopping and dining options.

There is a local bus and train service, but it is not always reliable. There are also taxis and local tour operators. It is a good option to have a hired car for transport. Secure free private parking is available on site. Airport transfers can be arranged.

The area is great for sport enthustiasts - there are many great diving sites, kayaks for hire, sailing, cycling, hiking, golf, squash, bowls, swimming & running. There are cruises to Seal Island and to Cape Point.

We had a pleasant stay at Watercolours guesthouse. It's an amazing place definitely worth the trip from Cape Town. Sharon's great hospitality made us feel at home.

We had a wonderful time in the Waterhouse. The hospitality, homemade breakfast, beautiful garden and view will remain in our memory. Sharon and Gary are warm and very helpful hosts and have created a lovely, tasteful guesthouse. We would definitively recommend and return.

I have lived in South Africa, Namibia, Australia and the United Kingdom. I love travelling and was a travel agent for many years. I really enjoy meeting people from all walks of life. I love walking, photography, reading and cooking and I am a big animal lover - I worked on the front desk of a large veterinary practice in Sydney for seven years - quite fascinating! One of my favourite holidays is to spend time in a game reserve - there is something quite magical about the bush. I also love travelling around Europe - preferably by train and one of our best holidays was a cruise around the Mediterranean.
I would like my guests to feel relaxed and at home. I am on hand to offer assistance if needed, but will also give them the space and privacy they need.
