Atención a los huéspedes
I am in and out of Cuba but my good Cuban friends will make sure your stay is perfect. Carmen lives on site and is charming and attentive.
This neighborhood is by far the most beautiful in all of Havana. Romantic and filled with history. Almost entirely pedestrian many streets are still cobblestone. Endless cafes play music by favorite small, traditional bands. There are some incredible restaurants opening nearly every day.
Dance, eat, explore!
You are also a few blocks off the Malacon and famous Calle Obisbo. An easy walk to a popular taxi stand and within 5- to -15 minutes walk of many museums and historical sites.
The easiest way to get from the airport is by taxi - if you'd like me to organize this for you please let me know - the cost is $40 CUC. You can pay this upon arrival.
Once in town, taxi's, coco taxis, bike taxis, and buses are all within a block or two. However, my guess is that mostly you'll want to walk - everywhere !!!

I have lived most of my life in Boulder, Colorado but I have also spent significant time in NYC, Paris, Melbourne (Australia), Tokyo and The Gambia. I also visit Cuba regularly and parts of South America.
I've worked in photography and film for many years. More recently I have been focused on marketing/creative consulting and I love the start-up scene. I am an entrepreneur, adventurous, love the outdoors but also city life. I appreciate great food, art, books, music, coffee and good conversation.
I travel a lot!
I do yoga when I can. When home, I cycle to work most days. I hike during my lunch hour. I have taught and love to dance (mostly salsa, samba, tango). I speak Spanish, French and a little of many other languages.
I love meeting new people and being in new places. I am definitely a relaxed, low-key roommate. I look forward to meeting you!
