The place is 10 minute walking to Duomo metro station (lines yellow and red) and 10 minutes walking as well to Sant'Ambrogio green line metro station. If you mind walking, you can reach those stations by bus (line 94 to Sant'ambrogio) or lines 2, 3, or 14 to Duomo.
Please check the address for yourself on a map (Corso di Porta Ticinese 12), this is downtown Milan for real. I dare to say the overall quality and location you won't find for the same price.

Since 2013 in Milan it is mandatory for every establishment (Hotel, B&B, AirBnb, etc) to charge tourists with a tourists tax and since end of september is aplied also for the short stayings.
Therefore, the person from the agency who will make the check-in will also have to collect the 2 Euros per day tourist tax and you will issue a receipt for you. Please see below information on the tourist tax.

TOURIST TAX

Milan, like many other cities in Italy and throughout the world, has
established a Tourist Tax for tourists and visitors.

The amount ranges from €. 2,00 to €. 5,00 per night, according to the
type, class and number of stars of the establishment.

The establishment must issue a separate receipt, or indicate the amount
paid for the Tourist Tax within the invoice.

The staff are bound to provide all necessary information on exemptions
from payment of the tax.

In 2015 the 50% reduction of the tax for visitors staying during August
will not be applied.

Revenues from the Tourist Tax will finance actions for the preservation of
the city’s artistic heritage and for the improvement of services for all
tourists.

Another regulation that has recently changed is that we need to submit to the Police details of our guests, same as an hotel would do. For that reason we will also need an ID we need to submit to the Police.

About the studio
I made the design of my house and also built part of it. I tried to exploit any given space in a rational and aesthetically pleasant way. I used the best materials I could. For instance, in the bathroom you will have real Bisazza mosaic, the magnolia type.
The kitchen is fully functional either if you want to cook something or just microwave something.
A new air conditioning system was installed in January 2013. It is not the one in the pictures.
Once arrived you will find the guest manual with all the information about the studio from appliances to travel information.

If you wanna have fun and meet people, just walk out of the building door.
Nevertheless, the major touristic and historical attractions are just minutes walking from here. Name one and take a walk to get there.

You can reach here with several public transportation means. It's just 20 minutes away from Milano Central station.

You will be able to visit the best of Milan just walking around, no mess and no fuss with having to wake up early to get a connection from the suburbs to downtown. Milan is a busy city, lots of people wants to be in the cetre of it. Waking up already in the centre of it will make it much more pleasant and relaxing and enjoyable.

An agency is looking after our studio while we are away.
Miss Anna , who is the manager of the agency will contact you a day before or the same day of your arrival, about the check-in.
If she will not be able to do the check-in herself, she will send another person from the agency who will welcome you and will give all the information you will need during your staying.

In case of any need you can always contact us on airbnb or by phone.

THINGS I WOULD DO IN MILAN

There are plenty of restaurants, pizzerias, fast food, sushi... around here and you will find one open even if you arrive late in the evening.

Unfortunately I don't have an official list of favourites... I need to fill in one asap.
Personally, I like the restaurant in front of the building. It is called "Mucche e Buoi" and they do meat. If you are vegetarians it is not your place definitely. Price is around 30 euro each.

I would not go at the Zero2 restaurant. It is to the right of the building door, after the vintage shop. From outside looks very nice but the food is nothing special and it's very expensive.

The sushi restaurant next to it, Nami, is top notch. The burgher shop, 202, top notch as well.

If you want to do something really romatic and very nice as well, I advice you to try the dinner on the tram:

If you don't have problem spending 50 euro each, I would strongly recommend "Cantina della

Overall, there are loads and loads of places where you can have a good meal. My suggestion is if you like the place, check the prices and have a go. In the flat other guests left some restaurants cards where they were with a brief feedback on it. Please feel free to do the same.

My place is really central. From there you can walk to Duomo. That is a "must see". And if it is a nice day, go on the roof top of it.

If you like paintings you need to visit Galleria di Brera and then have a walk in the neighborhood. It is the artist place, there are a lot of caffè and restaurants there. It's a nice place.

Then you have to visit Castello Sforzesco, walk through the Parco Sempione and reach Arco della Pace, where you will find lots of nice bars.

Another place you want to visit is Navigli. But bring the mosquito spay with you, because there are water channels and those bithces bites a lot.

Have a look on for the names I gave you and If you have any question anytime please do not hesitate to contact me.

We used AirBnb for the first time for our honeymoon in New York and we were very pleased with the experience.
Recently we had to move town so unfortunately we will not meet when you come.
And if you were wondering, the cat is not living there since many years now as well :)
