This first floor room has a full bed and ensuite bathroom. This rental is a clean room for those looking for nothing fancy. There is an elliptical, bed and workstation. This room has a window facing west. The bathroom is a custom modern bathroom, with travertine tile covering the walk-in shower. Breakfast can be prepared for an additional $10 per person depending on the hosts' schedule. Please inquire.

In addition to the bedroom, within the house guests will have access to the dining room, and screened-in porch. Kitchen use is limited to dishes and some fridge space for storage. Cooking a meal is available for a $50 per meal plus tax fee. Outside the grounds are available for use. Laundry is available upon request.

We will interact with the guests as much as time allows and you desire. We love to chat about our home and adventures and hope to hear about yours.

Our rural setting is surrounded by woods, prairie grass and planted fields. There are no houses on our side of the road with smaller homes on the opposite side of State Road 32.

The Queen & I is a short 45 minute drive to Indianapolis Airport, 7 minute drive to Wabash College, 35 minutes from Turkey Run State Park and 45 minutes from Purdue University

This home is a loving work in process. After purchasing the home in October 2014, there always seems to be something more to do, another project to tackle. In accordance with Indiana State Law, we will be collecting a 7% IN Sales Tax and 3% Innkeepers Tax on all reservations. Until AirBnB allows taxes to be charged separately, it is built into the room rate.

Enjoyed my time. Was very cozy and comfy. Was desperately in need of some down time and the peace and quiet I got while there was wonderful. Great country atmosphere outside and loved the little touches inside such as the picture a friend had painted of their two dogs.

This was our second visit to The Spare Room, and it was just as lovely as the first! The room and bathroom are always clean, the antique furnishings are beautiful, the hosts great us warmly, the rural/farm setting of this B & B is charming no matter the season, and the hot coffee made available each morning is delicious and greatly appreciated. It is like home away from home!

As I rolled into the driveway the host was just about to leave, so we had a pleasant conversation and he showed me around. If he wasn't there it would have been just as easy, the instructions of entering, amenities, etc., were spot on. As the host was leaving, I realized that I had an extremely wrinkly shirt and needed an iron. I had forgotten to ask before he left, so I shot him a text asking if there was an iron available. He turned his car around, came back, and handed me the nice! I only needed a bed/bathroom to crash in as my day and night was packed full, so this was perfect for me. 2 thumbs up!

This was our second stay with Holly and Isaac. We enjoyed it both times. Both were at work at our arrival but everything was as promised and planned. Both Holly and Isaac were dedicated to making our visit as enjoyable as possible. Their home is beautiful, historic, clean and comfortable.

The Queen & I B&B is the perfect resting place. It’s just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Indianapolis that you can find peace and quiet but close enough to make an afternoon excursion into the city. Whenever we stay here, we are always graciously greeted by owners Isaac and Holly along with their three basset hounds. The property is beautiful and expansive enough to do a little exploring in a wooded area beyond the yard, check out the garden when in season or feed one of the many fowls. There’s a small deck off the porch that is perfect for some reading or chicken watching. The home itself is traditionally decorated with a country feel and antiques in every room. Our room had a full-sized bed and bathroom with sink and large tiled shower. Everything was very clean. We spent the evening in a common living room watching television before retiring to our room. Q&I offers wifi so I was able to catch up on a little work and check . Get the breakfast option. When we got up in the morning, a breakfast of fresh eggs cooked the way you like, bacon, toast and coffee was prepared. You’ll always find a friendly and conversation ready atmosphere at Q&I.

My stay at The Queen and I was wonderful! It was exactly like the pictures, and Isaac was right there to meet and greet me. It was only a couple miles from town, but very quiet and peaceful. There is plenty of room to walk around outside, and birds and dogs to visit with, if you want. I loved it- they all made me feel right at home! I would recommend it highly. Thanks for everything!

The Queen, Holly, and I live in a beautiful historic home. We love to entertain and are excited to open our home up. We have three lovely bassets hounds that are spoiled rotten. We love traveling and enjoying the outdoors with them. For us, everyday is a holiday!
