My home is located on a quiet and safe street . You can find grocery, market, dry cleaning, hair dresser nearby the house .
I know my neighbors since I was born. They are good, old and helpful people. :)
The house has alarm system and secure door so its very safe.
This is 3 room stylish flat located in Macka . One is dressing room , the rest are bedrooms. Master bedroom has a queen bed, lcd tv and air condition even though its pretty windy when windows are open.
My kitchen is fully equipped since I love cooking. The bathroom is small but cozy .
My flat is on the 3th floor .There isn't elevator.
Living room has dining and sitting area. One side is full of windows so room is very bright.
There is stereo amphi, vinyl player, media player ( you can bring your film with your hard disk or usb stick ) and plasma 42 inch tv with international channels. ( CNN, RTL, MTV, BBC etc. ). You can use the stereo amphi with your iphone / ipod

My flat is 1 minute walk from Akaretler neighborhood and 5 minutes walk from Nişantaşı neighborhood. Nisantası is Istanbul’s most obviously European neighborhood, with its streets packed with designer labels, stylish cafés, chic restaurants, trendy bars, elite boutiques, and stunning Art Nouveau apartment buildings. However, it is easy for the first-time visitor to overlook this area because it lacks historical venues and monuments, and other essential tourist sites. Yet for shopping and style enthusiasts, missing Nişantaşı would be a real shame—one look, and it is easy to see why this area is considered the city’s style capital.

Only 1,5 km away from Taksim .Taksim is one of the trendier and more modern districts of Istanbul . Full of cafés, 7/24 open restaurants and performance venues dot the winding streets, as do nightclubs and bars.
Istiklal Caddesi, Beyoglu's main road, is lined with beautiful architecture from the 1800s. The old buildings mingle with new stores and boutiques, perfectly representing Istanbul as a city of contradiction. One of those older buildings is the Pera Palace Hotel, which was built in 1892 and became a haven for royalty and celebrities, including Agatha Christie, who penned Murder on the Orient Express at the hotel.

5 minutes walk from the boat trips in bosphorus. You can take a boat name "vapur" and cross the asian side of İstanbul. :) It is also within easy reach of Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar.

We were welcomed by Melis who was friendly and helpful. The flat is very comfortable and tidy, with a very artistic and inspiring design. The location is really convenient and safe. We felt like at home even when we were away from home. Overall, it was a great experience!

This was my first time using airbnb and I have to say that it was really great. We felt like arriving home. The flat is very confortable. We went to Istanbul during winter and it was warm and cosy, perfect for a couple. It's a bit tricky at first not to get lost into so many small streets sorrounding the flat, but you'll be fine if you bring your phone with gps or bring a small map.

Melis' home is just as she described it. It is located in a great place that you can walk to many different locations and easy access to public transportation as well. It was very clean and her bed was very comfy. Thank you very much Melis for hosting us.

Melis is a great host! She was waiting for us in the apartment even though the flight was delayed. The flat is well equipped and has everything you might need. We also had fresh towels and things like shampoos. The flat is situated in a lovely neighbourhood with many nice cafe, restaurants and shops. However, the flat is not on s big street which makes it quiet. We were travelling with a child and had to use a trolley and have to admit it was not the easiest accessible place. But hills up and down are everywhere in Istanbul and you cant do anything with it. The other thing to remember is that there is no lift and you should be prepared for that. But Melis was very kind helping us with the luggage! Overall, very good apartment in a nice neighbourhood. I would not recommend it if you are travelling with a kid just because of the location, but otherwise its definitely an amazing apartment to stay while exploring Istanbul and doing pretty good shopping!

Melis waited for us at the appartement upon arrival. She was very helpfull with our suitcases because the house is on the tirth floor and there is no lift. The house is spacious and comfortable, nicely decorated with lots of interesting books. The house is really in the best neighbourhood of Istanbul. Only a few minutes walk from nice restaurants, bars and shops. It was also just around the corner from my friends house. So everything was perfect. We had the best stay ever in Istanbul. If you want to experience the lush live of Istanbul go to Melis' house! You won't regret it. We will come back for sure!

Melis was the perfect host. She met us when we arrived, even though our flight was dreadfully delayed and saw us off when we left. She had gone to great lengths producing a guide to Istanbul containing the sights, restaurants, transport etc which was really useful. Her apartment was perfect. Beautifully clean and well appointed. It's perfectly positioned within striking distance of everything being a short walk from the tram terminus, whilst also being removed enough to be peaceful in the evenings. The local area has some great bars and restaurants. We loved it.

Melis has been a great host, giving us many pieces of advice to go to nice places in Istanbul. Before we arrived she contacted us to make sure we knew how to come to her flat and she was very responsive on emails and sms. The photos are accurate and the flat is very nice, bright and clean. I strongly advice it.
