This was more of a business, we checked in, were not attended to at all, given key and done. They were cordial, but it was not like most AirBnB experiences we've had where we talk a little to the host and there is attention to making sure everything is ok. It was also really dusty in there, not like the picture and had a bit of a dingy smell. Really small but the space was well used. It was a cute setting and the beds were comfy(but there was shredding hanging down from top bunk bed on my son in the lower bunk). It was nice to be right on the water and have the chairs right over the water. Very good location for lots of different activities, hikes...nice breakfast spot a couple miles down the road.

Everything you ever wanted in a beachfront cabin and more! Fresh oysters for harvesting, a fully equipped kitchen (range, oven, microwave, coffeemaker, plates, utensils, pots), sound of waves luring you to sleep at night. The area is pretty far away from town/general stores, so it was good that we'd gotten our stuff together before heading down here (drinks, condiments and food to pair with oysters). My family appreciated the privacy we were given - we did not encounter anyone else during our 1-night stay here, but Sara is nearby if you are wanting contact. The staircase is a scenic 45min drive away. We had a lot of fun. Highly recommended!

This place was just perfect for us! We had a great time with our 6-year-old daughter, she loved the bunk beds! We also gathered oysters from the beach and cooked them up in the kitchenette. What a great family run place.

Cannot say enough good things about the location. The view from our waterfront cabin was amazing, we ate all of our meals just gazing out at the water. We also rented one of the kayaks for an hour out on the water which was great. Sara was very helpful, sending us updates including specific directions to the cabins (which were quite easy to find). The cabin was very adequate with a comfy bed, towels and dishes. Not the most luxurious place I've ever stayed, I would not recommend it if you are looking for swanky lakeside lodging, but it was clean and a good deal for the price and location.

We had a wonderful time at Mike's Waterfront Cabins. Sara and her family are friendly and welcoming. The description and photos of the cabin are accurate. Also, the cabin has everything you need for cooking. Dog-friendly too! They only bummer is that there is no internet and really bad 3G coverage, so make sure to do all your research of the area before hand. I guess is good
