A group of us stayed in this apartment in March 2014 for 7 nights to attend a wedding in BA. We had three people, to sleep in the three bedrooms.
Overall, this is a very nice apartment. The location in Recoleta is good, as you are close to lots of shops, a grocery story, and several parks. It's also convenient for taking taxis as you're close to a main road. The apartment is very large, with great light and two balconies. As other reviewers have noted, the furniture is of OK quality, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you would need. We had a great time, and everything with the owners was prompt and in line with expectations.
There are two elements that I think other potential renters should be aware of:
1. The three bedrooms are not equal - we expected to easily decide who slept where, but while two of the bedrooms are large, with queen size beds, big windows, two closets, in-suite bathrooms with showers, and in-room air-conditioners, the third bedroom is clearly inferior. It doesn't just have a double bed- it is much much smaller, with a window into an interior space, no air conditioner, and one closet. Most significantly it has a small bathroom but has no shower. We ended up having the person who slept in this room pay less than the others, and since it was hot in her room she slept on the couch a few nights. I think this is something worth knowing going into the rental - this room is best for a child or someone who doesn't care as much about luxury, and it's probably unfair to split the cost three ways.
2. The elevator noise mentioned is pretty significant. It's quite a bit louder than the normal road noise I experienced living in Manhattan, and it tends to be constant at times when there are a lot of people exiting the building - ie in the morning. In the bigger bedroom closer to the door, you would be hard pressed to stay asleep without earplugs.
Overall we had a great time - we were able to deal with the issues outlined above, and BA was a great city.
