One bedroom apartment in the vibrant Wash Park West/Baker neighborhood. Fully stocked with all the items you may need for a one night to one month stay. Management, my partner and I, are onsite for any questions.
My partner Robert and I own the apartment community so you will get the benefit of having us on site incase you need anything! The apartment is in a 1920's building so there is some old charm. The apartment has an open kitchen/living room, separate bedroom and separate bathroom. The bathroom is only accessible from the bedroom (in case you will be staying with friends, good to know for who gets the bedroom.) The apartment was fully remodeled back at the end of 2013. It has all new hardwood floors, windows, plumbing, electrical, kitchen, and bathroom. Apartment is fully stocked with items for your stay! The kitchen has most items for you to cook a full meal. Bathroom includes Dr Bronners shampoo/body wash, q-tips, and cotton balls. There is a luggage rack and clothes hangers in the walk-in closet. There are movies in the hallway on the 1st floor for you to borrow during your stay and books for your entertainment as well, feel free to leave a book or take a book! The building is part of two other properties that all share a common courtyard. The courtyard includes a table and chairs, other seating, natural gas grill for use, and propane heater. The courtyard is setup during late Spring to early Fall months (May to Oct) and winterized (minimal furniture out) during the late Fall to early Spring months (Oct to May.) The other buildings include our house and another apartment building. Our dog Usol loves to roam that back courtyard and is not violent. She is very shy, but will never hurt anyone. This is an apartment community and we often hang out in the courtyard, have BBQ's, play outdoor games (ping pong!) and watch movies with a projector in the summer! Feel free to join any of these activities when you stay. The apartment is 420 friendly. Carefully review the Smoking Rules information emailed when you book and print out left in the kitchen.

Guest will be provided with the buildings front entrance code and the apartment code a few days prior to arrival (yay! no keys!) Guests have access to the shared courtyard at the back of the building and the shared laundry room.

We will stop and chat if we see guests in the courtyard or on the street, otherwise we are pretty hands off unless you need something! Our dog Usol, a Malamute mix, has run of the back courtyard but don't be afraid! She will bark at you but will never hurt anyone. Try not to look at her as she will bark and if you ignore her she may do a drive by sniffing.

This is an old building with old hallways and doors. There are FOUR apartments within this building and there is another FOUR apartments within the other apartment building off the courtyard. The windows are new so sound shouldn't be a big issue but you may her people in the hallway. Our house is next door to the building so we are almost always on site for any problems or question that may arise! The hallways are kept clean, but keep in mind they are old and not up to date like the apartments. The laundry room is available for $1 wash and $1 dry but please follow the laundry room rules. Dr. Bronners All Natural Soap/Shampoo in Unscented and Hemp Citrus is provided in the bathroom for guest use. Hairdryer is located under the bathroom sink for guest use. Fresh ground coffee and sugar is also provided in the kitchen for guest use while staying. There is parking available OFF street, please inquire about the availability when you are booking!
This is a busy part of town with A LOT of foot traffic. There will be trash and such out front and we try to keep up the best we can with picking it up. Because this is a 420 friendly apartment and building, you may/will smell marijuana. If that bothers you, this may not be the apartment for you. Please ask questions if you have concerns or want more information. If you are here to partake in marijuana, please see the house rules and let us know.

Quiet time is from 10pm to 8am Monday to Thursday, 11:45pm to 10am Friday and Saturday.
420 friendly and will help with utensils and/or advice if you are traveling for that purpose. 420 smoking is allowed inside or in the courtyard but NO CIGARETTE/TOBACCO PIPE/E-CIG/SPLIFF(tobacco/marijuana mix) smoking inside the apartment.
If you are traveling for the new recreational activities in Colorado, you may smoke inside the apartment, just be respectful of others and please DO NOT smoke inside on check out day/night. Ashtrays are provided in the courtyard.
Carefully review the Smoking Rules that were emailed when booked or the print out left in the kitchen area.
Please do not smoke joints/blunts/splifs inside the apartment.
No Cigarette/Pipe/eCig/splif smoking in the apartment!
If inviting friends over, please limit it to a few people and no overnight guests please.
No pets please!
Do not throw cigarette butts or trash by the front entryway or in the street!
No candles or incense please. It is a huge fire hazard.
DO NOT use WHITE towels or washcloths for dyed hair or make up removal! There are GRAY towels in the vanity drawers for that use. If you stain/ruin/steal the towels you will be charged.
The building hallway is cleaned every other Monday morning around 9-10am.
Laundry Room has specific rules, please review before using. If you need soap or anything just let me know!
The courtyard is shared with other tenants. Feel free to use this space but please keep it clean. Do not smoke near the buildings backdoor and please use the ashtray and clean up your mess.
Trash goes in the ALLEY trashcans, please do not use the trashcans in the courtyard for your garbage. Trash is Tuesday mornings in the alley and can sometimes be a bit noisy for a few minutes. The city is currently transitioning from trash cans to large black bins with lids. We have been patiently waiting for these and have not purchased news cans in preparation, so we apologize for their condition.
When you enter or leave the apartment building, MAKE SURE THE DOOR IS LOCKED! The front door lock is NOT automatic and must still be manually locked, please don't forget.
We are a fun loving native Colorado couple! We love to travel, the outdoors, live music, dancing, dogs, beer, and meeting new people. We both work 9-5 jobs during the week and spend our evenings and weekends working on remodeling projects, hanging with friends, or planning our next adventure! We travel internationally as often as possible and thrive off of learning from people and places. Come stay with us!
