Consulte nuestro perfil. Zona libre de CEM.

Charming and cozy screened in simple, off-grid cabin with a nice slice of ocean view through the Norfolk Pines. There's a lanai provided with table and chairs looking out towards the lush tropical garden of bananas, avocados and a variety of fruit trees and flowers. A true Hawaiian tropical experience.
There are 3 cabins on the property that sleep 2 each in case you have more people in your group. Check our profile. EMF free zone.

El alojamiento

There are solar fairy-lights for a little evening ambiance and a lantern for evening light as well, however there are no power plugs in room. You will sleep better with no EMF's in your very private room with a comfortable porch. It's only a few minutes by footpath through the garden and surrounded by many plants, flowers and wild banana, guava, mango, and sugarcane.

Servicios y zonas comunes

Guests have access to the communal bathhouse that has a sink, hot shower and flushing toilets. There are also power plugs at the bathhouse for recharging your devices but as we are on solar power, we encourage guests to use electricity when the sun is out. Also be mindful of your water usage as we depend on rainwater catchment for our tanks. We also offer filtered drinking water upon request. Unfortunately the kitchen is not available for use but you're welcome to bring your own cooler to your cabin porch. Please no food in cabins. We have ice blocks we can provide. And we do offer organic, vegetarian, fresh and local (from the garden) meals at $15-25 each. John's been a chef for over 10 years and his "in season menu suggestions" are always delicious! But we are always open to co-creating around here. Let us know what you like! We have a few short trails around the land to various Fruit Forests where we go to harvest but we do ask that guests ask permission before exploring.
If you have a 4G phone with AT&T you can access internet on the property.
Be advised that renting a vehicle here on the Big Island requires a major credit card not a debit card and also you must be 25 or older. We can recommend local rental car companies for less and except debit cards with a deposit.
Kona Airport is a 3 hour drive across the island to our property so plan accordingly. Hilo Airport is about a 40 minute drive.

This was a magical experience we wouldn't mind repeating! Falling asleep to birds chirping, hearing some piggies munch on guava during the night, being woken up by morning sun or rain, having guava from the tree on our way to breakfast - just a snapshot of what's waiting for you at the l'Olani farm. Unfortunately, we didn't get to talk more to John as he was away during our stay but we had the pleasure of meeting his parents - George and Stephanie. They were really warm and fun to talk to! We'd love to go back, get a tour of the farm and enjoy the breakfast! Mahalo!

My stay in one of the cabins was wonderful, clean, and very well put together. The energy on the farm is off the charts !! Ariel & John are great human beings whom are incredibly dedicated to their off grid life style - quality over convenience which I admire greatly. The farm itself is teeming with life with countless different species of fruits, vegetables and herbs. When I was there they matched my curiousity & questions with patience & knowledge - which I was so grateful for. They both happily went through all off the great places on the island that I should explore. Super lucky to have chose this magical place !

The best place to stay in Big Island !!! Close to the Volcano (less than a 1h drive), this farm is perfect to spent quiet days. We were 30min late on our arrival, but even by night we found our way at the first try... Just drive slowly because the dirt road is a little bumpy. After a night hearing wildlife leaving their life (and wild pigs eating a few meters from us), we had a magnificent breakfast us in the morning : it was delicious !! Fruits and homemade pancakes <3 Some bugs found there way to our cabine, but as we are literally in the middle of the jungle is has to be expected. Go there to take some taste of nature !!

This was SUCH a wonderful stay. Every single night was a magical experience, falling asleep to the sounds of the frogs and jungle, and rain hitting the roof. This is truly an authentic Hawaiian experience. I especially recommend this stay to people who enjoy camping. If you're not one for the outdoors, maybe consider more of a hotel. Also, make sure you rent an SUV or something 4-wheel drive! I rate this 100/10!

This was one of my favorite experiences of Big Island. The nicest people and the farm is really cool. The breakfast was awesome. The shower and the restrooms are as good as those in a hotel, but right in the middle of the farm. Thanks so much for letting us enjoy your place. Will surely come again!!
