Le Chai is one of 4 character gites at La Fermette France. It 's on an old wine store, now a comfortable gite with bags of charm - exposed stone walls and gallery landing bedroom accessed by a spiral staircase.
The dining table is a recycled cable reel and the breakfast bar an upcycled wine press. Wine barrels provide storage.
Le Chai, is the old wine store to the farmhouse next door. The ground floor area is very spacious with pale coloured exposed stone walls, high ceiling with original beams and a spiral staircase to the gallery landing with double and single bed and shower room.
The kitchen is well equipped for you to cook all the local delicacies you will want to buy in the local markets and as it's the old wine store we have also included a wine fridge for storing all those great local wines.........we are in wine and cognac country where you can visit local produces to sample before you buy.
The dining table and breakfast bar are two great pieces of upcycled furniture which help give Le Chai it's unique feel.
Outside is a gravelled garden with garden table and chairs plus a charcoal BBQ. As it's south facing it's a real sun trap and ideal for enjoying those evening BBQ's sipping a glass of local wine.....
We supply bed linen, towels, tea towels, washing up liquid and hand soap. You just need to bring your beach towels.........

I am from the Seychelles but live in the UK with my English wife Lesley. We have family spread across several continents and we visit them whenever we can, although of course Seychelles is one of our favourite places to be! We also spend several weeks a year in our home in France which we have been working on converting the barns to create some beautiful and comfortable gites .
